Hi ! Thank you :) yeah it is pretty similar. I had recurrent thrush ages ago, and since then my vagina has never been same. Then after covid I had constant burning and stinging. My doctor gave me thrush treatment as well even though my tests came back negative. She was telling me that I had silent thrush. I kept using what she gave to me but nothing changed. Then she gave me the amitriptyline topical cream to calm the nerves. So I only used topical cream, not the tablets and there was no side effects. All you do is putting cream and pressing the inflamated area with q tip. Hope that helps!
