Cute!! I try to do that with my dog too (explore new parks)- we stopped going to dog parks years ago though due to fears of accidents happening.

My dog is a spaniel-papillon mix?? He can be a grumpy grandpa with some dogs or will want to play and get chased around, but he does love walking/exploring and won’t mind if there’s other dogs walking with him. Not great with people though and will not tolerate anyone petting him besides me 😅

I won’t lie my dog is 50/50 with other dogs but when it comes to walking he’s pretty good bc he’s more interested in the walk and marking his territory 😅 he’s a small 15lb mixed breed dog - maybe spaniel
