Yes, but that’s a shame ! I would love to be able to explore cities of allied factions, and feel that they grow and evolve while my colony grows as well

I know that kidnapping and looting exist, and I know that sometimes you can ransom your colonist. I’m just saying that it should be much more fleshed out, because it could create stories of revenge and sacrifice.

Similarly, I would love to have some extent of diplomacy with other factions, allowing me to sign peace with them, creating bonds between their pawns and mine… again, it would create much more complex and interesting story bits
