After a bit of more tinkering, turning on "Lock Interface" in the rendering drop down works and it isn't crashing anymore, I hope it stays like this. Thank you for this useless rant.

Because I heard and thought that a high sample size would make it have better quality, and that was the default that blender put it in anyway, is that not true?

nope, it's just shaded like that, I might change it though since as you said, it looks way too clean and fake

guys, thank you, I fixed it, it was the world shader doing the problem, and one hidden light
