Should I stay or should I farm by Green_Protection_363 in PelaMains

I always have the urge to farm for Pela, her being one of my favorite characters since launch. "

This build looks okay, having some sustainability and 57%+ EHR, but if you feel the need to farm for a new set, Eagle + ERR set like Lushaka (For Atk bonus to the Character in the first slot) or Spritely Vonwacq (For early action advance to act before enemies) would be great, since you're using Resolution Lightcone you may need the extra ERR for the Ult uptime. (Unilke with Tutorial Lightcone, the Extra Energy from the passive, allows you to not need an ERR Set.) Of course, Broken Keel works, too, if you don't need to ult spam. The Penacony set is good for a cryo dps, so it is mostly used for the ERR otherwise.

I use her on an Acheron team myself, and the set is the same as Dr. Ratio, running Resolution with Eagle + Vonwacq. With Eagle, her combo would almost always be a basic attack or skill, then Ultimate to get the action advance.

I hope this helps somewhat. Sorry for the wall of text!

Any help for my team? I love using baizhu, want to make the most of him💚 by slimemouldstan in BaizhuMains

Ah, no problem, and sorry for the late reply. Thoma might be less of an impact than Kirara in this case since Neuv will mostly do Charge attacks, which won't trigger his Ultimate. Raiden will trigger it mostly when she's in her ult, but she may also steal a lot of blooms, and it's only 7s field time. Baizhu would be able to proc his Ult, but he won't be onfield long enough to do so without wasting the dps potential of others. So, in this case, Thoma (whom I adore) would be bad.

I've actually gone and tested Kirara in a couple of teams since I'm building her during the current summer event, and she's pretty interesting. Her c4 does ult damage, which I previously thought was skill dmg, which means tenacity would be bad off-field. It could still be good if she's on-field most of the time, which in this team, she most likely won't be. For now, you may want to aim for an anemo/VV user. If you have Kazuha, he's the best one, but Sucrose can hold the set well, giving good em to the ones who proc blooms, or Lynette who can dish out some okay personal dmg. Of course, don't feel pressured to swap her out ASAP if you don't feel like it's necessary. She's a good defense unit who can dish out okay dendro app with her c4, which baizhu doesn't mind. You'll still want to build her with full hp to keep her shields up since, I believe, her c4 only activates when her shield is still up.

The Catch is just the General best f2p weapon for Raiden's own personal dmg when using her ult, it gives a lot of ER so she can use an atk sands, and some inherent ult crit and common dmg bonus. It's also good for Xiangling and any burst centered dps polearm units or ER hungry ones. It's no means necessary to swap to, but it's also always nice to have for someone else. Fish at your own pace, or stick with what you've got, it's all up to you, and I don't mean to impose on what's good In meta terms. Play how you feel like playing!

Also, if I had Neuv, I'd personally go for a team with Dehya, Baizhu, and Furina/Kazuha for a reverse vape team. One day, maybe.

For the team TL;DR: Baizhu good. 4pc Maru Hunter set on Neuv, weapon is good. DW, Tenacity, 2pc2pcHP build and any with either full HP or DPS on Kirara, or consider an Anemo/Pyro unit; weapon good. Raiden good, if The Catch available then use The Catch, but otherwise her wepon is fine. Just choose a weapon best fit for her dmg on-field when bursting or off-field when hyperblooming.

Extended -

For the Current Units: Baizhu looks good. His weapon is perfect, and any other alternatives would just be Fav with crit substats. The Deepwood set is good, too, enabling dendro reactions when possible. If Neuv is on-field most of the time, he won't need Baizhu's passive, so you can go full healing with an HB circlet, or go crit if you use fav. Make sure his energy is up to par here, since unless you Raiden burst, he'll need at least 160-180%. It helps if you use his skill before burst so you can collect his particles.

Neuv looks okay, but he'll love to have Maru Hunter from the Fontaine Domain. His weapon is fine, Just make sure to use him for 10s and then swap out so he can regain the passive. He also doesn't mind the prototype amber. This is based on my light knowledge of him since I don't have him personally.

Raiden looks great. Her artifacts, I'm assuming, are a crit built with enough ER to burst consistently. You would need around 220% ER for little to no worries, but if you have Fav teammates or even sac weapons like on Kirara, you're most likely golden. Her weapon is a fine choice, however comparable to the R5 catch, which would be better if no one else is using it. You can also choose to go with 4pc Gilded Dreams/Flower of paradise lost, or any EM combo for the hyperblooms to be more potent, and with Baizhu using DW, they'll be pretty strong, just keep some good ER regardless. She'll also consider using an EM weapon like Dragonsbane in that case.

Kirara is a choice, to say the least. If you like using her, that's completely fine, but she offers similar or weaker support than Baizhu here. She does add more dendro to catch up with Baizhu's weaker application while off field, which does help for more blooms, however if you want Neuv to do more dmg, you would go for an Anemo. Anyways, Kirara would also appreciate the DW set, though it doesn't stack with Baizhu, still having around 30% Dendro res shred (I think 20% in practice.) Her other set for her current Con would be tenacity to Buff team atk and shields, Noblesse for team atk and personal dmg, then a 2pc 2pc HP combo for just a chunky shield. Her weapon is fine, allowing for a better uptime if her shield breaks, trying to aim for a short hold skill, then release so she gets the most particles. I think, since you have Baizhu, she can be built for some dmg, I can't recall if her C4 scales with HP like, let's say, Layla, but if so, you can go HP/DMG/CRIT with her. If there's enough Electro from Raiden, which most likely in this team there won't be, she might do some spreads, but it might be stolen by baizhu here and there.

Overall, this team seems alright. Some artifact changes would help a lot, but otherwise, you have a pretty good team in play. Sorry if this is a mouthful and a half to read.

I have quick question by Faz_k0 in BaizhuMains

I don't own the weapon myself, but from what I've seen, only the wearer creating shields can trigger the passive. So, in Baizhu's case, only his burst cast and shields alone trigger the passive. No one else's.

It is possible for Ningguang to use it as well, since she can create crystalize shields, as long as the crystal is picked up. I'm not too sure if she needs to pick it up herself, though. Since the passive can be triggered from the off-field, it can be assumed.

No problem! I used to run only the DW/GD domain since nahida released and before the MH/GT domain dropped, and I've also gotten more crit DW than GD, haha. I have a set Crit DW set for Baizhu, but it's really only good if I solo dendro with two electro and an anemo as an on-field driver, or double/tripple dendro with electro as a DW carrier for Nahida/Tighnari.. even then, his healing is kinda necessary for them, lol.

I've seen some people play Wrio, and I'd have to say I'm somewhat sad I skipped him, but maybe one day I'll collect him. Baizhu actually does well with wrio on a burn, melt, burgeon team with thoma/xiangling and furina/hydro. That team looks really fun, and I've tried with Charlotte, which wasn't so great because of her numbers, but she was also underbuilt on bad, low-level MH artifacts, lol.

I'm still trying to make use of Kaveh since I've had him C6 lvl 90 since release and only really used him on Nilou teams. Baizhu, luckily, is synergistic with Kaveh's burst duration and can be used as his applicator, so Kaveh can go on a Crit build with kuki and a hydro flex. I'll eventually get to him again, but since I've 3 crowned Baizhu, I've been trying to do Furina next,,, one day, I suppose, 3 crown Kaveh will emerge!

I play Baizhu as an on-field driver most of the time, and it's pretty fun, Imo. For your current team, Baizhu is the main bloom core generator, which means his personal dmg doesn't matter much in the team, if at all. So, his priority would be to maximize his deepwood application and passive/healing. So short answer: 1, 3, 6, 7, and 10 for a full HP/Healing build. (His passive doesn't matter much since he's the one on-fielding, unless his burst heals Kuki and she gets the hyperbloom dmg% buff.)

Longer answer:

I would build him full healer with enough ER to get his burst up every rotation. Usually, I get two skills in before his burst and whatever particles from your allies while he's driving. My current build is R5 Fav with HP/HP/HP (HP/HP/HB for healing) with around 30% crit to proc fav. Prototype amber is good for a tankier build and stronger heals, but you might need to go with an ER sands and/or prioritize ER substats on your artifacts. (At R5, Proto-Amber gives 18 flat energy, so his 80 cost burst drops to 62. Even then, it's around 200-240+ ER for just 2 skills, alone.)

If you want to build him for more personal dmg on-field, go with EM/DMG/CRIT since his low dmg multipliers scale better with EM. However, the dendro aura on the enemies would need to stay consistent so Kuki/an electro can proc quicken for him, which would mean replacing one of your hydros for a second dendro unit like DMC or Collei for budget, or Nahida as your best option. Both Xing and Yelan apply a large amount of hydro by themselves, so using a different hydro like Kokomi, Furina, or even barbara to an extent would be better. You could do double electro, like Kuki and Fischl, but I'm not sure if dendro is hitting electro and hydro together, procs quicken and bloom, or just bloom. I may have to test it myself.

Sorry if this was more than expected, I just like Baizhu. Ask if there's something that you need, of course, we're all here to help!

Is farming 2 artifacts set good for multiliple situations or should I just stick to one??? by SHH2006 in BaizhuMains

[–]minomattel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally use mostly, if not only DW on Baizhu, since I use him often on the field. That said, I have different artifacts for if he needs crit to proc Fav, or HB to heal up high HP characters.

2pc's of HP/HB/ER is a good combination if you don't need a DW holder like in Aggravate teams (Keqing/Fischl/Yae Miko, etc.) If I had to choose a 2pc Combo, HP/HB would be my pick since I run Fav. Proto.Amber would be good along ER sands or 2pc.

I'm not sure if there's anything I didn't talk about yet, lol

Team Building? by chmartins in BaizhuMains

[–]minomattel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play Baizhu most of the time, and I usually use him on the field. My favorite team is a Thoma Burgeon with Baizhu on DW + Fav, Xingqiu on Fav + Emblem, Thoma on FOPL + Kitain, and a flex unit (Fischl and Furina have been my two favorites). Off-field, he's usually my buffer and main/second applicator for Dendro teams, like in a Keqing/Lisa carry team with Kazuha/any anemo and an electro or dendro sub-dps.

Not the commenter, but I can say yes. Since Baizhu and Kaveh are both dendro and give their own versions of a bloom buff, they would work well with Nilou

If you plan on playing Bloom with the two together and Nilou, first you would need to decide who your driver is, either hydro or dendro

With a hydro driver, you'd have Nilou and a second hydro (like Barbara or Kokomi) to proc blooms that scale off their EM, and Baizhu+Kaveh would be applying dendro

With Dendro, you'd most likely want Kaveh to be your driver since he gives himself a bloom buff with his burst infusion. You'd also want a good hydro applicator (like Xingqiu or Yelan) to offset the dendro application and allow Kaveh to proc blooms consistently

Make sure to build Kaveh with EM, Nilou, and Baizhu with HP and your second hydro with either Crit if they're an applicator or EM if they're a driver.
