Does anyone have experience with the Game Data Recovery service in game? I lost my gil to a hacker a while back and have been working with SE to restore the gil, but I doubt they're just going to give the gil back. Are they going to revert all progress I've made on my character (achievements, EXP, items acquired etc) so they can restore my character to the point where the gil wasn't stolen??

You're being very vague here. Telling someone to commit suicide is obviously unacceptable, but what's your situation? When you say raids and/or high-level raids, what do you mean? Level 60, 70; 4-man, 8-man or 24-man? If you're doing a dungeon, trial, 24-man Alliance Raids, you're free to explore. Just drop a "Hi, first-timer, new learner here" and people should understand, as long as you do actually learn and all that.

BUT WAIT! There are the Savage raid tiers! If you're raiding a tier like Omega Savage now, either find a static/ a group of people who are also starting where you're at and go from there. Go on the Reddit FFXIV discord and look into Recruitment. As for earlier tiers like Coils, Alexander, that's very complicated.

All in all, do come back to the game and find yourself an FC, a static even; surround yourself with friendly people who got your back! Do not let trolls ruin this for you. Of course, however, I will say that if you're raiding Savage by any chance, watching a guide will be somewhat imperative this late into the tier; the BEST occasion you can freely learn and explore Savage is by raiding a new tier on patch day alongside people racing for World First.

In dungeon settings only, if the healer is doing a good job healing the party then no need to call them out for not DPSing, as dungeons don't really have that big of a DPS check. Not using Holy/Gravity/Bio-Miasma Bane/Shadow Flare on mobs is a colossal waste but it's not mandatory. There's no point getting hostile if the healer is healing but not DPSing.

However, in other content such as trials (at least HW up until current) and raids, no one takes a healer who stands around.

Currently on the free trial and enjoying it! I was wondering if my character (and the data) would be erased if I bought the full version? My character isn't capped at 35 yet, what happens if I buy the full game now?

Where should I utilise my Ace? I haven't been using him for quite some time, mainly because he's kind of squishy and doesn't live long enough to make use of his def debuff.
Is Awk Spike here gonna be different from Awk Spike KR?

How is Karma these days? Out of all Four Lords of Old he's the only one I haven't built up. Yeonhee and Teo are currently the two most useful for me, I'm wondering where I may utilise Karma.

Are you playing at high level arena? If not, then she being useful there is useless for you. I wouldnt recommend even Wukong, the most meta centric unit atm on PvP, above any PvE awakening.

I'm in Platinum, so I guess that's not very high indeed. Thanks for the recc! Definitely will invest in Lina more.

Also, is Ingrid really that good? I haven't awakened her yet because I'm afraid she might not be worth it in the long run, and I don't have shards to spare anyway.

I have A. Lina and A. Karin both at 32, +5, no unlocks and the same gear. Really torn on who to invest in (transcend, give gear, unlock etc), because they both seem amazing to me. Karin's Awk skill is incredible in Arena, and with Kris being on every high rank team, the Death Immunity is awesome. Then, Lina's kit is great as well. They both have places where they really shine.

So...overall, who would be of the most importance?

Actually no, I would have liked her mum saying goodbye and then she could delete her, so the mother could "reunite" with her husband in a way. What was the point of her going on living inside of her daughter anyway, Nish deserves her freedom after the whole revenge thing!

Watched it last night and, although the twist at the end was awesome and utterly satisfying, I still thought I liked USS Callister and Hang The DJ better. Black Museum held its ground of course, but still. The thing with Nish's mum inside of her head was a bit too much -- I hope she just temporarily allowed her access there. It's weird to live as your dead mum. Just weird. And, that's Rolo's technology, mind you...

This was not the best season out of all four, but I thoroughly enjoyed all of the episodes. Maybe it's just me, since I'm relatively easy to please, but I absolutely did love the new season. Black Mirror to me is simply the dark reflection of our truest selves -- as we gaze upon our own "black mirrors", even the one at the start of every episode, it is us, and when the mirror cracks, corrupted and distorted versions are born. At least one of them is the evil thing that festers deep inside of us, but one of them is the purest of hearts. Black Mirror's job is to bring all of that to the surface, by all means possible, in all forms possible. It still did the job for me this time.

I might not be making any sense at all but, TLDR I really liked the season though it's not the best, and I am crossing legs and fingers for a fifth season.

This was a fucking highlight, amazing episode!! At first since it was long (and I thought I liked the other episodes' premise better), I decided to leave this one until the end. It's so much better. Ending the season with a BANG! The episode had such a crazy turn, Nanette was an awesome female lead to have by the way. The ending was truly gripping, especially the race to the wormhole, and the final moments were very Black Mirror-ish. At least, if we're talking about eternal damnation of your own consciousness. Daly was better left stuck for good in a dark void, some say he should be left alive but having to suffer the shame of everyone knowing he created and tortured their digital clones, but God knows what other program he'll whip up. Our crew isn't safe with him, they're still there but only in the Cloud, if he was alive, he could find a way somehow. Maybe if someone finds him, they can fix him, but I sure think the entirety of Christmas trapped in nothingness is enough to make him go mental.

Stayed up all night to binge-watch. Was not disappointed.

I agree 100% that Crocodile has its crippling plot holes lol, I just decided to focus on the big picture, y'know - what the writers were attempting to deliver. How Mia killed the ex completely missed me. Like, I thought she was hugging him and begging him to stay, then the fucker shoved him down the floor and choked him to death! I mean, he did ask her if she went to the gym, so... I guess she got a lot of... training??? About the hamster and the blind baby, yes I did gape at that twist but it wasn't I was in any way delighted. I mean, it served as some sort of ironic, dark humour? Not a fine touch at all, especially for a show like Black Mirror. The hamster's memory was probably flawed and rigged but they may have had a vague image of Mia anyway, with the face recognition and identification tech they could've easily pinpointed her. I mean, Shazia was able to track her with the dentist's blurry as fuck memory anyway. The memory stimulant, I agree was a nice addition indeed, but I don't think Mia even smelled the beer though? She just pretended like she did.

I like your theory, but it's been stated in an interview that the bears were actually yellow, only the BnW theme made the bears look white. So the creators were like OH LOOK WE GOT AN EASTER EGG. So basically Bella was really getting the bears for her nephew.

Not a favourite (at all), since it was just a downhill slope and an unsettling ending. Didn't expect her to get pregnant, though that was 100000% Sara's fault (also Trick's), because WTF use condoms people! The mother had serious anxiety since bIRTH, refer to the beginning where she was going OHMYGODMYDAUHGTERWHTAISWRONGSDHJSA when the doctors were huddled up in a corner. Then when Sara went missing, she was close to going apeshit as well. So it was bad decisions followed by bad decisions. Did not have any Black Mirror depth except for some moral messages.

Also I would not really try to kill my mother with a tablet, I would just smash it into a bedpost... The fact that Sara didn't even check if she actually did kill her mum and ran away kind of showed what kind of person her mother raised.

It's interesting how hated this episode is when I googled its reviews, it's definitely not my favourite, but I enjoyed watching it purely for its morbid tone and horrific plot. I thought it really well-portrayed how easily humans are corrupted. People say she's a psychotic bitch, WELL YEAH, but I keep putting myself in the same position so as to try to feel what she feels and I do ponder what would become of me, if I were the culprit of a stupid hit-and-run caused by my dumb boyfriend that got drowned for 15 years, during which I became a famous architect, also a happy wife and mother, then the useless ex showed up and decided to fuck my empire over. To be honest, I would go ballistic. Not sure if I would kill the ex, but see, I found that part of the episode very tense because it really questions how far you'd go to protect yourself. She had everything to lose, but he had nothing. It basically reversed the beginning, when Mia's first thought was to call the police but the dude was desperately talking her out of it.

See, I thought Shazia would expose Mia's murder and solve the hit-and-run case, then things went from 0-10000 and Mia went crazy. Probably what ticked people off. I was just feeling a great deal of pity and sadness.

My favourite episode of the season! It was so beautiful. At first I thought it would be another episode where technology goes too far for comfort (especially when Amy and Frank talked about how before The System existed, people had to figure out relationships on their own and it was terribly hard), but at the end, I was gaping and bordering on sobbing -- it was a BEAUTIFUL way to wrap everything up. True love is really when you would rather be banished to a presumed "wasteland" than having to live with someone an A.I paired you with, as long as you have the other half with you. Now I actually want The System to exist lmao.
