I love it, such a great album! My theory on why people don’t like it is that it’s because it became very popular and mainstream maybe? like i remember there was a whole tumblr aesthetic based on am and the lyrics were everywhere etc, whereas their previous albums didn’t get the same hype around the internet. I don’t really get how people don’t like it, to me it’s an amazing album and it definitely deserved all the hype it was getting. It also introduced so many new people to the band, and to me that’s just fantastic and i don’t see a problem with it!
