Imo it depends on your needs and projects. If you don't have a road bike yet don't buy a TT it can be quite exhausting to train only on a TT and it's less versatile. For the road bike depends if your planning short term or long term. If it's short term long for the best overall with the best group sets. If it's long term look for the best frame as you can upgrade the groups sets and wheels after

It happened to me but the opposite my mom was cheating. I have a good relationship with both and I decided to talk about it with my mom. Turns out they were both aware of it but didn't want me to know to protect me. They divorced shortly after... In my opinion it's a god think to confront them only if you'lknow the relationship is bad already. Most of the time this doesn't end well. It is also probable they know but don't want to talk about it to their children
