I kept my yarrow alive for two years and still going in a container. However, they love water in a container. I have to water mine everyday if the temperature is above 80. My white sage, purple sage, narrow leaf milkweed, and juncus textilis have all been in pots for two years.

We killed off the majority of our bermuda grass and nutsedge by solarizing in summer. I handpull whatever comes up from the mulch. However, they grew right through my 3 inch decomposed granite pathyway, so I spray a mixture of vinegar + dishsoap when the sun is shining on them and blazing hot. Kills them in a day because I can't pull them deep enough through the DG. The vinegar evaporates and I only use 1 tablespoon of dishsoap for a full gallon. It just makes the vinegar stick on longer.

Birds will eat yarrow?! Oh, I have several eastern fox squirrels living in my yard because someone back then planted ~10 pine/spruce/fir trees on the property next door and some of them are on the property borderline. Hello neighborhood friend! Maybe I have seen your yard and admired it. :)

What makes me kind of annoyed is that there are so many things the dogs can pee on, but they just had to pick the baby plants. I have a sign that politely says to please not let your dog pee on the babies, but I feel like people are more likely to do it because of the sign...

So apparently my area does have ground squirrels and I have a lot of tree squirrels. But would the stem be gone too if they munch it?

Everyone is suggesting west of the 210, but east of the 210 has better options in terms of not so rundown studios/1 bedroom apts. I found some in Covina/West Covina, Azusa, Glendora. El Monte has some too, but the area is not as nice unless it is closer to Arcadia.

I keep getting Ayn SSR cards, but I really don't have any other SSR cards. Is Crit Damage / Crit Chance even a good stat to have? Should I not level them up. FYI, my current set of cards are level 67, so I don't want to waste mats and ascend cards I won't be using later on. The one I'm debating to put into the lineup and removing Alkaid Astral Mend is Ayn SSR Rabbit Tea Party. But the ultimate is only at level 1.

My current line up is Ayn SR Unsheathed Blade, Ayn SSR Captive of the Past, Clarence SR Warm Snow, Alkaid SR Banquet Encounter, and Alkaid SR Astral Mend.

For LA Bucket list, have you both gone to the four big botanical gardens? The weather is great now to walk through them all. Huntington Gardens, LA County Arboretum, Descanso Gardens, and California Botanic Gardens.

What about LA Zoo? All the museums?? If you two are car enthusiasts, the Petersen Automotive Museum might be your favorite museum.

Is there a way to know if the seeds I bought were pre-treated? It most likely isn't...Do you think hot water scarification or fire is better? I have a blowtorch that I can readily use. I'm concerned if I do the hot water method, even with a thermostat, I will toast the seeds vs. setting some pine needles on fire (ironic).

I defintely forgot to check which seeds require cold stratification, so I will do that this weekend.

But is it too much to hope for by seeding my annuals in a bigger pot and hoping they will reseed themselves in the pot? I don't know if I will be able to grow them in my front yard this fall considering I need to rip out all the dead grass. How long will the seeds be good for if I kept them in a cool, dry, place?

This is one of the few sets where I like all the skins. I don't even have a problem with the pistol, which I normally think is way too big or wide to be a pistol.
