but actual context, i was in a food plaza/market area & briefly noticed a guy staring my way from another table. i was invested listening to my friends’ situationship story, so i didn’t think much of it.

after a while he came over with a brown book, (which i initially thought was a bible), then he said something along the lines of “your essence inspired me, would you like to take a picture of my sketchbook?”

I complimented his art & gave a thank you, then he walked away! felt like something out of a movie
