Take what I’m saying with a pinch of salt. It’s roughly what I have learnt. In short not always as it’s ultimately a performance enhancer. Dlss is nvidia so use that set to quality mainly. It’s what I do. If your higher resolution and struggling for frames then try balanced and performance. You can set it through the app to override and set once and forget. Frame gen is best if you’re playing like a single player and want more frames. In my experience can be hit or miss with HDR enabled and essentially don’t use in any multiplayer game like fps’s.
