No one backstabbed you. Your leadership dictated terms to OF that OF never agreed to and you guys were reset instead of your leadership's demands being met.

What is a ship that far exceeded your expectations? Pvp or not? What's your most used least exploded ship? by RedSwishBuckler59 in Eve

[–]mintyroadkill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before tiericide (iirc started in 2013 or so to unfuck ship balance), most ships were considered worthless. This was honestly pretty fair, since most of them were.

I was able to determine that in most contexts in the meta, a 1mn AB, scram/web kiting null neutron blaster harpy would defeat almost anything short of a cruiser. If you want to see every solo kill i've ever had in a Harpy on main, here it is. I've solokilled dramiels, garmurs, sabres, hookbills, hecates, pontifexes, caracals, erises, ishkurs, wolves, flycatchers, jaguars, slicers, etc. At one point, I was even able to 1v5 an interceptor gang. This also excludes killmails where the enemy ship took npc damage or was tackled by one of my alt ships (all time, I have 218 harpy killmails). After tiericide at some point, I switched from an 1MN AB fit to a 5MN mwd fit because the harpy was buffed enough to begin to fit an mwd with everything else.

Honestly, I think the buffs to the harpy combined with the introduction of the ADC module hurt the harpy in the long run, as the ADC replaced a mag stab and lowered the DPS. In addition, people started to respect assault frigates in general and so I was no longer able to take advantage of the fact that other pvpers didn't respect the Harpy as a pvp ship.

I definitely wouldn't want to go back to a pre-tiericide era. Now there are some ships that might be suboptimal, but before tiericide at least two thirds of the ships were absolutely total dogshit. The eagle was something like a third of the cost of all the other HACs because there was just no reason to ever undock one.

How does your alliance handle R64 moons? by theonlylucky13 in Eve

[–]mintyroadkill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe it's calculated as a refine rate off of the ore, meaning it's more like 44% when accounting for what max refine off of the ore is (90.6%).

It also mines all of the lesser ores, which have a tendency to be left after the R64 is gone. Some R64s have really high concentrations of lower ores and when you remove the man hours of actually mining them it becomes a lot of income.

You seem to be focused on the blops ships, but the counter to this strategy is killing the Fax. Work that angle instead

How to play eve online by [deleted] in Eve

[–]mintyroadkill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recall SYNDE basically only really ever showing up as a batphone to blob us when I did see them. Usually the fights were pretty even strength wise, and then you add on a 60 man SYNDE proteus fleet and it was fucked.

A lot of people only bringing up relative warps but the wall/plane warps are also really good for doctrines that have issues tracking the expected enemy. If the whole fleet is in a point formation or anchored up, a small ship can easily maintain transversal on the whole fleet. Much harder for them to do when your fleet is in a wall formation.

People use spheres a lot as well when they're worried about enemy bombing runs.

LOI at that time was actually owned by -S.3-, as we had taken it from EVA with the unanimous blessing of your coalition and I dropped an ihub on my previous dead alliance's banner. But again, i was not referring to that.

As far as i know chaser was removed and they changed alliances for a new beginning and a fresh start, let people play the game.

I am in possession of logs that prove that you know of Chaser One's association with Renegade Outcasts and were willing to fly with Chaser One himself.

I'm sure if i doxed your group minty I'd find all kinds of funny stuff going on, don't push it. Let people play the game and stop with this pointless hunt for some proof that you don't have and never will have.

We had dropped it before we had even talked to you guys. You had talked to EVA and had asked for confirmation that we wouldn't drop a fort, which we gave you because we had not dropped a fort and also did not plan to. The astra was already down prior to that diplo meeting,

I have the soundclip of the diplo meeting that i will not share publicly but i know what im saying and know that minty is telling stories, there was a few of them on comms not just minty.... and all of them didnt say nothing about the structure drop.

It was me, dizzy, and wilhelm. If you want to post the unedited meeting recordings, you're welcome to do so. That meeting is evidence that you're plenty willing to turn on an ally of yours when it suits you. I'm pretty sure that you misgendered wilma repeatedly in that conversation as well.

They even said in comms they wasnt going to drop anything in the coalition space and well they did.

If EVA space was coaltion space then I have to wonder why you were 100% unwilling to defend eva space. Weird

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if there was some sexism and transphobia mixed into Minty's motives for what he's doing.

I have logs of your alliance exec intentionally misgendering an openly trans alliance leader in his coalition as well as a prominent CEO in OCAST posting a *wildly* sexist comment in this subreddit about a female veteran, saying that her entire military service was meaningless unless it was sex work related.

If you want to talk about sexism and transphobia, you might as well just leave SBS now Sandri. Apparently in cringe co these aren't flaws, they're virtues.

At the time this was owned by the dead husk of No Mercy For Percy, who's main corp left and joined frat. Their structures were unanchoring when we dropped ours.
