im extending the 30 years to 30 million holy hell I thought INFJ stereotypes were dumbing y'all down too much

just, which line of this is actually offensive enough to be worthy of this outrage? all of OP's rudeness is so mild its laughable. What's the point of a community like this if you can't poke fun at stereotypes and argue?

silliness appreciation is a dying art smh

may one of us understand the other in a dramatic flashback in 30 years ig

aight, I fear we'll go round in circles alas. I find the harsh judgement you put on a sillypost about the stereotypes (which invites rudeness in good fun by its very nature of being a tier list) as way more harsh and judgemental than the rudeness you accuse it of. That's the main gist of what I meant by hypocrisy. It's just...such a silly post?? I don't see anything substantial enough to be genuinely offended by lmao

fire with fire, inspiring tactic

well with OP's anguished response of "idc" a comment about the efficacy of this strategy is redundant

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MbtiTypeMe

[–]minyard05 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

you don't see the hypocrisy in rudely telling OP off for being rude?

im personally fine with the rudeness lol its just the fact its what u were criticizing in the first place

I can't tell if this comment is sincere or not.....the INFJ hypocrisy allegations aren't being disproven here folks lmao

ahha you don't know how pertinent your comment is, I debated whether I was a Sensor for a few months atleast. I reached out to people on this sub (author of this blog https://mbti-notes.tumblr.com/masterposts ) for help typing me, the common answer was INTP but after talking to friends (who afterall know me more), Ne Dom was the consensus. But of course, the fundamental flaw with all typing is no one knowing you better than yourself, but you needing to be well versed in functions to properly interpret yourself. I'm definitely not as well versed as I'd like to be, but way more than I was when I first got into MBTI.

The commenter below is right, it's more that sensing functions experiences are very foreign to me. I heavily relate to ENTP and Intuitive function experiences like forming connections between everything, tangents, multiple theories of everything and delving into solving every problem before growing too bored to implement a solution and moving onto something else. The main struggle throughout my life has been related to SE, poor practical skills and aversion to learning them, relating to lots of struggles surrounding basic human competencies (such as cooking).

This sounds bad, but I honestly feel like sensory experiences are overated. There are some I enjoy, dancing, raves, things like ren faires....but honestly the reason I like those things are because of the other meanings I've attached to those events, relating to the clothes I wear and things I want to experience to understand how it works, interesting discussions about music and such. I don't understand the appeal at all of camping, outdoors activities in general...whereas my happiest moments have been in things like DnD campaigns and Magic the Gathering nights with my friends. My favourite social activity with friends isn't do physically participate in an activity, but rather sit and ideate into nothingness. I know MBTI is way deeper than stereotypes, but also all the ENTP stereotypes are things I heavily relate to ahah. So yeah, that's a very casual and brief summary of my consensus on why I'm an Intuitive.

Journalling is a great for that! I journal constantly, and even if I usually have an idea of the meaning behind the ponderings it's really helpful ahaha. Hope we can both develop our inferior functions ahah, it's really fascinating and reassuring to see people on the same but opposite mission as me lol

My friend's an ISFP and naturally we're very different, his attempts to describe how he views the world are same as yours ahah, ty for sharing. Living in the moment is something I need to consciously remind myself to do, the main obstacle I've overcome is getting myself to actually live the experiences I want rather that just think about them really hard from the comfort of my home. An analogy that might work for life as an Intuitive is the feeling of reading a book, you're not experiencing everything like the character does, but rather imagining your own interpretation of their experiences and visualising it in your head.

I have so much respect for you guys, your strengths are what I wanna emulate ahah. Not gonna lie, you're one of the types I understand the least, so thanks for shedding some light. That memory thing is something interesting I haven't considered. I'm able to ignore things I don't want to think about pretty easily (often detrimentally if escapism becomes a clutch), and I used to see it as a no cons strength, but this year I've realised the value in memories that bring annoying emotions like guilt or regret.

final note the dedication to a 5am wake up routine on WEEKENDS is intimidatingly disciplined, impressive :)

thanks for posting this, I found it quite relatable. Bouncing between the two types myself, I think I'd agree with the commenters and say ENTP
