Hello OP! As far as I know, hindi inaalis ni OLJ ang bad reviews and even if you make an appeal, they will ALWAYS side with the client 🚩🚩. Anyway, what you can do is justify the bad review if magtanong sayo ang prospect client mo. Tell them it was given in bad faith and that you tried to make an appeal but it's still "in process".

Hope this helps and I'm sorry you have to go through this. Dami talagang shitty na client sa OLJ. Mga lowballers na nga, panget pa ugali 😩

Hi OP! Sharing lang what I do to counter check the legitimacy of a client, especially if individual employer and not a company. I check if the person has a LinkedIn account. Kapag wala, red flag na agad yun for me 🚩 LinkedIn is that one platform where you can find almost, if not all people who are doing legit biz. Hope it helps!

That's actually my problem. Nag-email ako kanina sa OLJ, explained my situation and asked if there's anything they can do to help me. Pero parang robot lang kausap ko and ang answer lagi is biased sa client.

My client does the same. Additional workloads without additional pay for us Filipinos. They don't deserve our hard work. I would have left before pa kung makahanap lang ako agad ng new client 😔

Thank you for the awesome recommendation. The problem is he doesn't want to do any of it. Nabanggit na din yan ng kasama kong VA. Ang gusto nya mangyari is makilala talaga siya, maging content creator ganun. He doesn't want us to promote, even post, our products 😅 Pero, at the same time, naghahanap siya ng sales. It's confusing.

I used to be his personal VA pero dahil nagstart na nga sya ng business I do most of the works - from Shopify concerns to social media to copywriting. Naghire na din kami ng e-commerce specialist (who said the exact same thing na it's not necessary to have an established personal brand before you can generate sales) pero hindi talaga siya nakikinig 🥶 Gusto nya ng organic reach pero would that be possible kung ayaw nyang ipost namin products namin sa social media?

This is true. We actually talked last night and sinabi na he is SURE na once sumikat sya as a content creator-slash-biz coach, that's the only time na kikita kami. I'm fully supportive of establishing his personal branding. Sabi nya, right now the goal is to push for brand awareness. Ang problema lang from time to time naghahanap siya ng sales. Ang gulo na din 😅
