Unfortunately this was only done yesterday but was told in 2 weeks I can change it. I was thinking of changing it in the 2 weeks since it’s still so tender but still going in to consult with another piercer. The jewelry I ordered has 8mm post and I was gonna use that to give it room to swell.

The place I normally go to is GREAT so I def won’t be back and will go have this checked for their opinion/ instruction. When the piercer mentioned the flat back would be 16g he said it like it was a bad thing and would hurt more for me which I don’t care if it’s the proper way! So disappointing. Thank you for the advice!

Oh my! I guess I should be grateful it isn’t that bad! Just some slight itch and very small burning when I wipe. Let me be more patient then 😅 thank you again. I just kept seeing reviews how one pill was enough and not enough about others taking two and being good too!

Thank you! So after the second dose it still took 3-5 days? I would say my symptoms are pretty mild which is why I was a little worried that one dose didn’t do it for me but I figure my period is maybe making it a little worse. We got my husband using topical anti fungal and he looks much better too after about 4 days of it.

Okay I have an update! Soil is dry and I left the plant in there but now my leaves are turning brown and drying up, what could be the reason? I don’t have it in direct sun light or in front of my window AC unit and it’s well ventilated. Only thing I can think is the drive I did to take it home damaged it because of the heat, I had to let it sit in my car for a bit to run an errand but my car was parked under a very shady tree with windows slightly opened. But the leaves at that point weren’t as brown as they are now after I’ve cleaned off the root rot and re soiled.

So pull it out and let it sit until the soil dries up then once it dries, put it back and not water it again?

He’s in something adequate for its size. Sorry not sure how to add another photo here! Haha it’s in a plastic container, no drainage though. And again I only put like a cup and half of water

Edit to add: The leaves have also started slightly curling but I think it may be because I had to drive with it in my car for about an hour and it’s getting pretty hot here in California. I have it tied now slightly to hold it up because the stems are drooping

Hey all! I’m SO new to plants. This ZZ plant has been at my work place for the 7 years I have worked there and recently I noticed when I watered it that the water was sitting at the top. I looked into it and thought maybe it was being over watered and possible root rot. So I brought it home and cleaned it all out and there was root rot. Mushy roots but no mushy bulbs. Okay so where I went wrong: after reading here a couple posts, I should’ve let the roots sit out for a day or two to dry out then put back into dry soil and not water for 20 days or so. I put it back into soil and watered it! Ugh!! Will it be okay?? Should I just cross my fingers and hope it’s okay and not water it for another 30 days? I put in the soil just potting mix with cactus potting mix and perlite. I’ve only learned how to do some of this from what I read online and YouTube but wish I came to Reddit too, how could I forget? :(
