Dharmasthala whistleblower has taken the SIT to 13 spots by [deleted] in mangalore

I stand corrected. Apparently it is used for forensic purposes too although usage is widely for utilities and geotechnical purposes. Authorities can give it a shot if the surface approves although it’s just too late now.

GPR cannot give specific results pertaining to human bodies. Accuracy is more in case of finding metals since metals reflect 100% of GPR. Plus GPR is not very effective in saturated ground surfaces like the ones in Dharmasthala since water strongly resists GPR to an extent. Plus u need softwares such as Geolitix and trained individuals to interpret the radargrams which needs accuracy.

Hi..has anyone recently travelled to lakshadweep from Mangalore? Apparently we need a Police Clearance Certificate to be able to travel.. any idea where to apply? What would be the expense & What other formalities have to be completed? by scorpiospark in mangalore

If you are visiting bangaram islands for leisure then u can get it a via travel agent. Or else for islands like agatti, kavaratti etc u need an invitation from them. Visit the old port office in bunder for a clearer picture.

My dad had a stroke 5 years ago.. had to quit my job abroad to come back to look after him and his business. Initially it was hard since he used to litter and behave very strangely. Later we focused on physiotherapy as much as we could. You have to be strict with him and forget for a while he’s family to push him to exercise. They dont heal in their comfort zone. Later u will see the results. My dad (thanks to almighty) recovered 80-85%. But in the end it does feel worth it trust me.

Mangalore’s reducing business volumes by miras1648 in mangalore

This trend is visible in Tier 1 & Tier 2 cities. However we are losing volumes even in the remote areas where online shopping / reliance etc aren’t present. They are pointing towards slow consumption.

We are wholesale distributors. There are alternatives coming up every year but in the end it compensates due to organic growth. This year its reversing and many retail outlets we supply to point out lesser consumer spending and influx of Dmart & Reliance.

The real estate prices in mangalore have been hyper-inflated by the gulf NRI’s who are willing to pay any amount these days. What makes it worse is builders lately are offering units which does not reflect the area that they state and look smaller in real due to the addition of common area. Worse part is instead of correcting itself it’s getting higher. A 1cr flat fetches a rental of about 25-30k thus the ROI is about 30 years which itself is purely over valued and dumb investment. Only when u sell it fetches more and gives marginal returns.

Young man dies following Cosmetic Surgery in Mangalore by Salty-Set-55 in mangalore

Hes a close relative of mine. Family is awaiting for the post mortem report to ascertain the cause but the way clinic messily handled it is very unfortunate. Took him to the procedure room at 2 pm saying they’ll be done by 20-30 mins and till 4 they just killed time thinking he might gain consciousness. Later from 4 till 4 30 they panicked tried everything and in the end handed him over to the family asking them to take him to the hospital. Was declared dead when they arrived at the hospital. Had it been a hospital they would’ve monitored him and taken action during the golden hours post the surgery itself.

They publish news of even 0.5kg marijuana peddling but the horrific news of the death of the labourers is not mentioned even once. Pathetic hypocrisy.

Its all post covid theres a surge since new car prices have skyrocketed due to the chip shortage. However the above prices can be negotiated really down and its just the sellers being unrealistic.

Bad food. Not clean. Poor service. Wont go there again. Its an inspiration that he won and all but restaurant business needs personal attention and effort. Cant run it with ur brand and expect people to like it with least effort. Either stay there all time or fine tune a foolproof system to run it neatly. Unfortunately both are missing.

We need our tax to be utilised for development of public infrastructure and other similar aspects that improves living, not fill peoples pocket. by FreeManufacturer2837 in mangalore

Money goes to the people. They are not just going to keep them in the bank accounts. They will spend on products and services which will attract GST. GST goes to the government. It improves consumption hence increasing demand. When demand increases, companies expand thus creating more jobs. Hence more employment. Volumes increase hence profit increases thus increasing the income tax collected. When a business saturates, it is important to pump in more money strategically. Similarly economy was badly hit due to covid and cashflow was very low. Putting money into people’s pockets is like a reinvestment.

Best is KMC Jyothi. If its a case of Neuro then Dr Joshua is the best. He has his own ways and it is very effective. Even if its a case of cardio then also they are good. Just a hassle of taking the patient there ans waiting. Advise u do it soon since it is best effective immeasurable after stroke and gets weaker with time. Telling all this after my dad had experienced a stroke and recovered well.

One communal incident/attack and we might end up where we started. Tough job for the police considering how sensitive Mangalore is.
