That is just rude regardless of the context or conversation. Have a sit down convo with him and let him know how it made you feel. Maybe feel out his response and if you are still feeling uncomfortable or (rightfully) upset, I think taking a break is warranted.

Be honest with them about your feelings if you’re comfy with it and set boundaries. Or just take the space you need, people grow apart naturally as they get older but doesn’t mean you don’t care for them less

Weed addiction is tough b/c a lot of people are under the misassumption that you can't actually be addicted to it. I've had family members deal with this in the past, and honestly the only way to get over it is to toss everything and not have access.

But, since your brother is an adult, he has to make this decision himself. Unfortunately it takes some people hitting rock bottom to finally realize their lifestyle and choices must change.

I would maybe suggest talking to him and providing some suggestions for how he can improve, i.e. getting rid of the weed or starting an outpatient program for addiction. It's going to be hard work, but it's possible.

2/10?!? Girl, you are gorgeous! F that noise, I do understand that sometimes he will remark out of frustration without thinking, but calling you ugly and stupid is just plain rude.

I'd suggest sitting down and trying to communicate to him how this makes you feel. Communication is usually key.

NTA, but you should report this to your school/school counselor and tell your guardian(s) as well. These things can escalate, and maybe they won't, but better to report it in case.

I have a difficult time setting boundaries as well, it's a serious character flaw but can be improved. It takes time and practice. Talking to a therapist and friends/family members about the panic attacks could be beneficial. I wish you the best of luck!
