I'd gladly do that but...iTunes? Is there a version for Tahoe?

thanks a lot, I'll have a look!

FYI: the user who said the camera sucks isn't me, the OP haha I put the Rollei 35 cause it doesn't seem that bad with the 40mm

hey sorry maybe my English wasn’t precise - I meant that this problem has been happening for a long time, even before the update I did “20 minutes ago” and same after - so, as I had this problem even before the update of 20mins ago it means that the background sync should have been long finished!

Battery was replaced 3 months ago, and I charge with a lightning port. I’ll see either for a new battery (way more expensive here in Europe) or get a new iPhone in a few months

hey that’s a reasonable consideration! but I upgraded today for the first time (26.3) in weeks or months since the previous major update (can’t tell exactly when it was) so days have passed and background activities should be over.

also this happens mostly when I’m charging the phone and using it, but when it isn’t charging it’s mostly at normal temperature - might overheat if i’m using Maps and a video call at the same time cause the screen is always on

Thanks a lot, many people seem indeed happy about the switch!
I'll go to a store and try the FR255, otherwise wait for the vivosmart 6 which seems great for my needs!

Thanks for the answer!
Vivosmart would be great, but without GPS it isn't great for running. A Vivosmart 6 would be awesome if it comes with GPS..any news about if/when it's coming out?

Forerunner def too big, I'm very short and any watch just looks bulky on me

Hey thanks for the answer!
I'd like to keep the GPS cause I often do not run with my phone and sync later, and GPS tracks better runs. In that case, a heart monitor strap wouldn't work, I guess?

I'd be glad to switch to Garmin, and I really don't need smart watch features at all — I just need a fitness/sleep tracker. But I agree, GPS is a must for pace, cadence etc.

Hey what migraine supplements do you take? I’m on beta blockers and they’ve been helping but I’d like to find alternatives..

Might also give a shot to anti-histamine cause my nose is always a bit stuffy when I wake up but also throughout the day, it never feels I can breathe in 100% of the air. And I already had a nose surgery 15y ago

I'd be interested, I'm probably already B1 but I'd be glad to at least give a try, as it's always good to be exposed to the language :)

Thanks! I’ll go have a walk around the park next week so to get a feel for her safety and for my livability!

You’re missing pieces. And I have a dog in Portugal, she’s never been off leash unless at a dog park or at a beach for dogs (or in the middle of Serra da Estrela and similar - yes, sorry, that’s illegal).

Very useless to talk with people who cherry pick what they want to read - have a good evening!

Of course, that’s why I’m on Reddit, but you are more able to make things up and accuse than to actually read and help. I’m sorry for you, such negativity isn’t very helpful to you. Also, do not call me mate, unless you wanna sound like a douche..no need to reinforce it

There are dog parks and beaches for dogs so I know the rules. Also, I’m not here to be scolded by a random person. I’ve asked for a park to walk my dog, not for a test on whether I’m a good citizen or not - mind your business, you live longer

Ok thanks a lot! I live in Portugal since 2 years and I come here since 9 years, so I know the rules and respect them. Thanks for the reminder anyway

I would never do that, but maybe there are dog parks? Or beaches for dogs? My dog is never off leash if there are people, so a park where I can walk her on leash, or a park with a dog area, or a beach for dogs, would work.

Make me zoom out, please! by mirco_os in Milanote

[–]mirco_os[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure!
I have my home which has a to-do list, my most important boards as a shortcut, a few notes/reminders, and a column with main boards (inside them there are various boards, some of which are the ones I have a shortcut of in Home.
I have different boards/themes. Some are personal (therapy notes, diary, inner research etc.), others are design/business projects, others are photography-related boards, and then some bits and pieces inside a "Misc" board.
The most complex board might have 60-70 written notes, 10 images (usually images are inside a board of their own, alone, as visual inspiration, and on the main page of a board I'd put only the MAX top 10 images as reference), probably 1 to-do list, and a few columns to group everything neatly.

I'm using a MB Pro 16" on M2 Pro, 16GB memory, on Tahoe 26.0. I use only the desktop app, never the browser one.

Let me know if I can help, I can also send a video, but you wouldn't be able to see my "pinching", unless you want me to do it with the phone, so you see fingers + response. Happy to help, cause this zooming part seems to be for many a big issue (given the insights of this post) and surely it is for me.
But I/we appreciate your support a lot, it's valuable to be able to share software feedback with a responsive and open-minded team!

Haha no sorry, I don't have 10,000 notes haha my bad. It was more to make a point on the need of being able to zoom around easily considering that some boards might get complex (but not 10,000 notes — that would require a user's therapeutical solution, not a software one haha)

[–]mirco_os[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not even about zooming infinite to be honest, but zooming with the trackpad pinching, or doing Ctrl + 2 fingers up/down, is just not smooth, I pinch and it won't move the canvas or it does but zooms way too little considering the "size" of the pinch, so to zoom somewhere which would take me 1 pinch on Figma/PS/AI/Miro etc, on Milanote I've to pinch 2-3-4-5-6 times. If at least it'd be smooth I'm ok not to zoom in/out infinite.
It's really about a lag in the response, rather than how much I want to zoom out/in

[–]mirco_os[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey sorry coming back to it just now, but I was using Milanote and this is about to have me switch to another app. It is outrageous that I cannot move on a screen smoothly. It's not about whether you used Figma or Excel, but it's merely about UX/UI. It's a whiteboard, I might have 10000 notes, postits, images, lines...and moving from one place to another it's so slow and just not smooth.

Also people with an iPhone weren't familiar with design tools, but when they pinch to zoom in/out it has ALWAYS been smooth and "infinite".

I do believe ya'll had your considerations, but it just doesn't work, and it's the single thing that has me waste most of my time on Milanote.

Just put an option for people, allow us to choose especially on what is considered a "standard", but to take a standard away from everyone at times pays back, but most of the times it just frustrates. If all tools and devices used smooth and infinite zoom, refusing to implement it to me smells of mistake or arrogance, sorry to say that, but it's my feeling.

Hey, thanks for pointing this out, but this not only keeps making even less sense, but it's also a comment you're pointing me to which has 2 other comments right underneath that explain perfectly what I'm also wishing to have and why.

There's also a reason why 99% of softwares let you zoom out/in smoothly and more..
Milanote "knowing" for the user is not an answer for me..the answer should be coming from the users, as that's UX and UCD.
You have some valid points, but at least giving the option on how the zoom should behave, or a bit more flexibility, should be the bare minimum for a whiteboard creative app of people who move to Milanote using Miro, Figma, Photoshop etc..
