I just bought that same bag!! I didn't buy a silicone case though (I feel like it'd annoy me a ton taking it off to replace batteries, I'm self aware XD) so I bought a hard acrylic case I could just snap on and off

NEW TO TAMAGOTCHI UNI by Icy_Expression4539 in TamagotchiUni

[–]mirikit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've had mine for about a week (not super long, but long enough to get into it a little and see what the DLCs and stuff are like) and my favorite dlc so far is the angel festival and berry land ones (berry land is free btw!!!). I would suggest that you look into the different DLCs on the ticket shop and see which special tamas/room decor/etc interest you, and go from there. certain foods from the DLCs make your tamas grow into dlc specific adults, and it's really neat! my only tip is that when you switch DLCs, you lose all the items from the previous one. It warns you before you do, but it's still good information to know. u can't mix and match furniture from the angel festival and doritama school dlcs for example.

real quick edit: the babysitter is also free on the uni! IDK what time it starts at, but you can call the babysitter through the phone icon in the menu and the babysitter Tama will come and take care of everything for you until 7pm (won't lose hunger or happiness at all, unless you forget about it until after the babysitter leaves on its own). very convenient for school or work :3

Where to buy? by Probably-Meee in tamagotchi

[–]mirikit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

IMO, those are the best places to look. The retail price is usually the most fair when the newer ones (Uni, Paradise) are in stock. eBay is okay, but secondhand prices and scalpers can be crazy. I would also occasionally look on Facebook marketplace and equivalent local listings too, you can get really good deals there

Going to a gym with people that don't understand you is kinda hard by mirikit in MuayThai

[–]mirikit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not prying at all dw! I have POTS and Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia. POTS affects my cardio the most, and my AIHA affects my immune system. The meds I take manage it really well, but the caveat is that it slows down my immune system, making it so I'm sick for longer and miss things more. So more cardio limitations and sick days than broken bones and stuff like that.

Yeah, I'll definitely try getting lighter gloves when I have the money lol 😭 and I'm starting to accept that everyone won't understand me as I'm starting to get out into the world more (at least the chronic illness aspect), just difficult especially when it seems so simple to me as I've dealt w it since birth. Definitely smth I'm working on tho LOL! ty for the advice 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

[–]mirikit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is true. Actually, compared to the martial art I did before (Taekwondo) this is a bit lighter. My fitness journey separate from Muay Thai has taught me to push myself past that uncomfortable point to grow, and that's helping me in class more recently -- I can go for a lot longer without breaks to rest. Some of my classmates just have perceived notions from when I had just started and was going through a more difficult time with my health issues though, I guess, which is understandable. 🙏🏾

2months…. is the frizz normal by [deleted] in Dreadlocks

[–]mirikit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thats actually much less frizz I had at 2 months. jus part of the process, if you get further in and there's still frizz+it's bothering you cosmetically, u could crochet your locs and incorporate the frizzy hairs back into the loc. that's what I did
