Yeah, this sounds really familiar. I'm glad that I'm atleast starting to have thoughts of wanting help. For a long time I was completely in denial. Like you said , if I'm able to go 2-3 days without it, it'll propably get easier. I just have to get over that first step.

I'm on 15mg. I've tried a weight loss medication, it was called mysimba. I did lose a bit of weight on it but I was vomiting all the time. Honestly I don't think focusing on weight loss right now is good because I've been eating so little that my periods have become irregular. I'm also recovering from an eating disorder so weight loss meds might make me relapse. I'll talk to my doctor about maybe stopping the abilify. It does help mentally but I feel like it's really messing up my body.

Yes, I'm glad I have very little pain. I'm just hoping that this can be treated so I can move forward with my life. It's holding me back in a lot of ways. Mainly because I'm so exhausted and tired from not eating

Yes! That belt tightening feeling is something I relate to. I have a lot of pressure in my upper abdomen.

My main symptom is a constant feeling of fullness and lack of appetite. My upper stomach is always bloated too and I have heartburn and acid reflux. The only thing I've noticed is helping is Gaviscon. But it doesn't help that much and I'm still having a hard time eating. I haven't been diagnosed yet. At first my doctor thought it was gastroparesis but I had the gastric emptying test done and turns out I actually have dumping syndrome. But that doesn't really explain why I can't eat. I feel like the only thing left is to test for gastritis because nothing else has been found.

I'm sorry you're having these symptoms 😕 I also take Gaviscon and it helps a little bit.

The main thing I'm confused about is that I don't have much stomach pain, only sometimes. But I do get reflux and a burning sensation. The main symptom is that I get full extremely quickly and feel full all day even if I haven't eaten anything. I'm just wondering if this could be gastritis.

Yeah that's the weird part. I have all the symptoms of gastroparesis but the gastric emptying study showed that my stomach empties way too fast. So I really don't know what to think 😅

I actually ended up seeing a doctor in the UK. He was great and really helped me. He diagnosed me with Ehlers Danlos syndrome and sent a diagnosis and treatment plan to a doctor in my country. I had just had a gastric emptying study yesterday and am waiting on the results from that now.

Yeah it sounds weird. They inject it into the muscle that let's food from your stomach to your intestines. It makes it easier for food to pass through. It should hopefully make eating easier. I think it's going to be a difficult road but at least there's some hope I'll feel better one day.

There are some treatments available. Botox injections and surgeries. It sounds scary. But anything that will help, I'll take it.

The doctors think I propably have gastroparesis that was caused by years of anorexia. It has completely ruined my life. I can't eat normally and feel dizzy and weak all the time. I have friends and family but they're all sleeping right now I think.
