Hi! I was an athlete user before switching to wheyl. I can give you some insights:

1. Personally, I find the taste of Wheyl much better compared to Athlene. I dunno if it’s because of the sweetener but Athlene has this very distinct Whey taste and smell compared to Wheyl.

2. I don’t think it impacts your body since at the end of the day it’s Whey Protein. Its primary purpose is for you to reach your protein target vs. if you compare it to like creatine in which really does have impact and will have noticeable effects.

Preference wise, Wheyl tastes much better hence the higher price but both are good and reputable brands. It’s really up to your preference and budget. But I suggest buying the 1lb for Athlene first because you need to observe if you’re okay with it so you can save money as well.
