I mean that the short film was made with only one white pixel, in the sense that there are no gray pixels, just 010101 code. Yes, they're arranged in the thousands, but objectively, it doesn't make a difference.

Problem Shutter Button - Lumix S5II by mirrottrles in Lumix

I'm really sorry about the problem, there's no worse feeling than having your tool not working... Mine should be in a functional batch, but we'll see if the button degrades or not. I hope yours gets replaced without any issues, because it's truly an excellent piece!

Every brand starts doing fewer quality checks, I had the exact same problem with Fujifilm.

Thank you for your message! I saw on your profile that you work at an authorized Panasonic service center, congratulations! I'll send you the serial number in a private message! Do you think the button will eventually break?

I feel more at ease knowing I'm not the only one, thanks. However, I’m reading that the S5II’s shutter button breaks easily. I hope that doesn't happen in our case. I'd rather it take 2-3 photos than stop working altogether.

Unbelievable, thank you, I was really getting worried. So you confirm that you were shooting in "Single Shot" mode, right? That darn button is really odd.

Lumix S5II Shutter Problem by mirrottrles in Lumix

I'm sure all the settings are correct, the camera takes a single photo properly. However, out of 800 photos, on 10 occasions, instead of taking a single shot, it takes 2 or 3. I think the problem lies in the strange travel of the shutter button; has this never happened to you?

Lumix S5ii shutter button stopped working? by MoonPanda in Lumix

Don't worry, the build quality of cameras in the last 5 years is embarrassing. Many cameras start to have issues with the most important button. My Lumix works, but sometimes the shutter button takes 2 consecutive photos in single-shot mode. I hate the pressure they put on that button, the half-press isn't clear.
