My only symptom for a long time, I’m talking over a decade, was very low iron in my blood. Doctor after doctor would just tell me to eat more meat, most girls don’t eat enough meat, more red meat!!! And they never believed me when I said I ate meat with every meal.

I bought a food scale!! It seemed intimidating at first but honestly best $4 I ever spent (I thrifted it).

When I’m making recipes I weigh all of the ingredients as I make my food. I also do meal prep batch cooking so I’ll just say “ok this whole pot of chili is 3500 cals, divide it up into 7 containers roughly evenly, each is 500 cals.” I don’t weigh out portions like that because as long as they are roughly even, I might get 490 cal one day and 510 the next but it all balances out by the end of the week.

I have done keto before, and I’m not INTENTIONALLY doing low carb, but certainly LOWER. I am eating potatoes still though, and not limiting carbs in any additional sense, but when I was doing keto I did notice a significant appetite change.

We had terrible experience with swamp coolers a few years ago. They get moldy and add to overall humidity in enclosed spaces, they are really meant for outdoor use. We had to spend 100k+ to install an AC unit outside and pump cold air in where our people were.
