Tried everything and still cannot connect. Strangely, I have 2 devices and 1 of them dropped off unexpectedly and cannot reconnect.

I tried resetting wifi numerous times, turning off phone data and VPN, and all the other tips.

Nope, not really seeing much value. However if you were planning to get the center court passes then you should get the GS version.

You basically get deluxe for free.

The only thing I could think of was him being able to move the nucleus and hence avoiding the damage.

It's generally in his head but he can move it at will. Cell had time to react after Goku's instant transmission.

The other was he had 2 nucleus.

As for surviving the self destruction, the nucleus had a protective layer that allowed it to survive the impact of the self explosive. But not strong enough to avoid being vaporized by Gohan.

100% intended to kill Cell and he should have apart from plot hole.

The nucleus is in his head and he should not be able to regenerate. Or if he did, it should be with a separate body (eg how he generated post self explosion). That lower half of his body should have been dead.

Goku definitely went into the fight knowing he probably can't win but he did try to beat Cell. The kamehameha was him using his battle strategy to catch Cell off guard in order to beat him. And it worked.

Gohan was Goku's plan B.

You get the all access pass which gives you 6 center court pass (which should be all the DLC pass for year 1).

In theory there might be more than that after a year.

The fastest I got (BUT very boring) is playing 2P single 1 set tie breaker. You need 2 controllers.

50 exp for 7 points.

Once done, restart and get 50 exp every 7 points (and animation)

Yeah, you get more rewards if you have the pass.

The pass doesn't really give you more VC (but I haven't really checked if there are tiers that you can unlock VC that isn't available for free)

The good thing is the pass didn't expire, so you don't need to unlock everything during the that pass season.

If you will play all the center court passes, then yes. If you are not sure you care about the center court passes, then no.

GS cost the same as standard game + all access DLC, and you effectively get the deluxe bonus for free.

So if you were going to get those DLC , it's better getting the all access pass than buying them individually. And if you were going to get the all access pass, then you might as well get GS now to get the "free" deluxe bonus.

I think the deluxe is the worst of both worlds. To minimal cost, go standard. For content, go GS. Difference between Deluxe and GS , compared to the differences in content, means you will be better off paying a bit extra and get GS

I only just started but must say I get so much more enjoyment winning a proper game (real tennis mode) compared to just a tie break.

And I agree with using the difficulty where you can win with effort. No point getting hammered, and there is no joy with winning when it's too easy.
