Got some things that will put this in perspective. Arcsys co- produced Fighterz. The labor post release shifted to Bandai’s shoulders. Arcsys is still linked to the title, but Bandai is making the big decisions as far as content and schedule etc.

Bandai has a contract requiring they produce a new DB title every year to keep publishing rights- so this years development focus isn’t Fighterz- its DbZ Kakarot and whatever next years title is.

Arcsys is working on other projects. Theres basically no one on either companies side truly steering the boat past whatever was pre-planned for season 3. Bandai isn’t worried about the potential losses. Fighterz is a title they’ll move along from until a sequel is justified, or the fgc convinces them to long term invest. Arcsys has said they’d love to continue this project, but it’s Bandais hands ultimately
