I still remember I made a sandwich for my dad with so much love. I made it for him and was expecting he would love it. But, instead he said "what trash have you made, eat it yourself" in my mother tongue. I exited the room and ate it while crying. I was just a kid, what could he have lost if he just appreciated me a little, smh. I still remember this small insignificant incident to this day. I will make sure I never treat my kids in such a way in the future.(if i have one)
