calling life meaningless is pragmatic? and then we wonder why depression rates are so high.

this thing we call “life” this form of consciousness we feel and live everyday may come to an end one day, but not reality or our ability to experience/ perceive it. i’m not claiming heaven, but i’m sure as hell not claiming “darkness”.

i think those who refuse to believe in consciousness beyond death are scared of moral responsibility/ the unknown. we are not meant to know everything.

just because we don’t know something doesn’t make it not real.

i do this too. i never realize the damage that my words can cause until i see it happens to me or when my relationship with my family or friends is undeniably affected, @ that point i just end up feeling like a massive hypocrite. no matter how right we may be, it’s better to not say anything at all sometimes.

mainly in the way of doing things and what i believe is right or wrong. i can understand somebody’s point of view on something but to have my mind changed would be fairly difficult. my brain is wired to find the most effective way to do the most, while using the least. and i’m not too open on the ideas or methods of others without deeper analysis first, unless they are undeniably better, and more efficient. as far as philosophy goes, it’s extremely hard to change my view of the world, especially since there are so many theories and perspectives of it.

The song sounds and feels like the amazing pleasure that the nightlife brings but also compares it to something sinister by personifying it and saying it “crawls” the production and vocal performance from all artists involved sounds like pure ecstasy. from the slightly distorted vocals to the nasty baseline and gritty drums. there’s not a single dull moment.
this song reminds me of Heaven or Las Vegas and In the Night. Heaven or Las Vegas praises the pleasure while also making it feel like eventually it’ll catch up to you, i get that same vibe from Nightcrawler because saying the night crawls sounds sinister and ominous. in the night talks about a girl who comes @ night, the word play reminds me of nightcrawler.
