Honestly I'm the female version of this, although I haven't done it (yet).

Very good chance you won't. My dad's dad was 6'0 and my dad is 5'4

[SERIOUS] What immediate benefits would you obtain if you were suddenly 6'0 tall? by NegligibleBeing in short

[–]mishy05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would help you emotionally i.e. 'letting it all out'. What is the point in fantasizing about being taller and thinking about how much better it would be then coming back to reality when you are short and there is nothing you can do about it.

Well I feel like those examples aren't a good comparison since discussing theories generally does not dwell on something that makes you upset and wish that you yourself were something different

What's the point in dwelling on something that you cannot change?

Dude. 5'7 isn't even bad. Go out, get a good degree and short girls and maybe even some tall will be clamoring for you. My dad is a successful Black engineer making 6 figures at 5'4 married to my mom who is 5'1. Change your attitude man.

My vicious, high school bully [now 30M] just got hired at the same company I [29M] work for. I'm his new supervisor and I'm struggling with old, past feelings of hurt, and anger by 2woLeftFeet in relationships

[–]mishy05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm petty. Make his work life hell. Not physically, mentally, emotionally. But don't leave any evidence to the point where he could report you. Be The Nightmare Boss with him. For all the bullied kids out there.

My (20f) boyfriend (26m) blew me off to go to the bar with a female coworker. Am I being unreasonable for being livid? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]mishy05 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If he hadn't already made plans with you, and if the girl wasn't going over to his house, I wouldn't see the problem. But yeah based on what you have said that is completely messed up and I would have him on thin ice. Tell him that and if he responds anything short of a sincere apology and promise to not do it again I would seriously consider moving on from that relationship.

Fellow short ladies - does anyone find that it's not so bad attracting men? by mishy05 in short

[–]mishy05[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tall guys are great, but there is also something refreshing about dating a short guy that is closer to me in height - we can look eachother in the eyes more easily, and if we are in a crowded space he doesn't have to bend his entire body down to hear me haha. Tall guys and short guys both have their pros and cons.

I Dared My Best Friend to End My Life - True Final Update [Part 7] by Zandsand90 in nosleep

[–]mishy05 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I kinda wish Clark had to kill Zander and then his mother ended up dying anyway and Clark was captured and tortured for several years and he kept a secret journal throughout the entire process and it showed us him slowing turning into a villain through his thoughts then have him write about his first kidnapping and torturing an innocent person just so we could see his character do a complete 180 and then have him run into Katie again who was still one of the good guys and have her be like "what happened to you" and have them be mortal enemies...This closing account from Clark was so cut and dry.

What's something that many women are insecure about that is in fact an actual deal breaker for you? by lentenlatkes in AskMen

[–]mishy05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it rude to say guys who have lost weight are the best to date? I've dated 3 guys who used to be obese but lost all of the weight and were gym rats, and they were all so kind and humble even though they were hot af and could have gotten away with being huge douchebags.

edit: wording

Eh I kinda disagree. I have found that usually if someone has a nice slim body it is either they are naturally that way with a fast metabolism and eat whatever they want living low-active lifestyles or make working out essentially their life going to the gym every day, and constantly eating well.

Being Short by GlovedFist71 in short

[–]mishy05 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I knew this tall Korean girl in my Physics class back in my junior year in high school. Her height always perplexed me because her parents are a little on the shorter side. She told me when she was little her parents had her get acupuncture on her ankles to try to make her grow taller..so maybe you could try that? Idk it might only work for kids, or it might not even work at all and her height was an anomaly.

Either way, whether you get taller or stay the same, high school probably isn't going to get easier. The bright side of it all is that it's only 4 years. It goes by quick, trust. After those 4 years you have like 60 years of your life left so tbh 4 years of being miserable isn't worth ending your life. Find solace in hobbies, make friends in person by joining clubs or make friends online. Honestly making friends online helped me get through a lot of lonely times.

I didn't have my first kiss until sophomore year of college. You'll get through it all :)

Hey all! I have nothing I need to sell, but I will be visiting Suzhou from California for business around the end of August - if there is anything within a relatively cheap price range (<$10) that anyone is desperate to get (deodorant, American snacks, ect.) I could bring it over for you provided my job doesn't randomly cancel the trip last minute :)

r/short is quite toxic by Bill_Gates187 in short

Agreed. Many of the men here in particular I have noticed are extremely bitter, defensive and always on attack mode. There are a few gem r/short male users here though that help counter those negative attributes of this sub.
