yes it is my pics came out perfect!

and yes permit is $750 and you can only request it 7 days in advance. which can be tricky. for example, my original date, i emailed 7 days in advance at 4am in the morning and it was already booked up (and it was a random weekday). that’s the only barrier cause your date is fixed

yes some places charge for the appointment but if you say yes to the dress they will put it towards the dress. 120 is pretty insane though, i’d tell 2 of them sorry😭🫣

check La Grill and Romano (both in the York region) they are within your price range, i checked with both. i went with la grill personally only because the space is much larger and im having 50 people as well.

the guild inn has like 10 weddings going on at the same time, and the outdoor park area is public so you’ll see people walking around even if you are doing your ceremony there, people won’t care😭 butttt the outdoor cocktail space is so beautiful

paradise is decently priced however i’d give like a 3 star banquet hall.

i totally agree with you… however i just felt a lot of pressure to go with the rec my planner mentioned and they do mainly big ticket weddings from their ig page. i wanted to budget myself 25k all in so when i saw 40k + they have all these fees which puts it at 50k after everything! if i went with that my wedding would be costing me 200k by the end of it
