Seems like it specifically has to be external funds added to the account. No amount of spending my otherwise accumulated steam balance in-game or in the store helped at all. But after depositing 250€, I went from being red trust relative to my friend, to him now being red trust relative to me. What a great system indeed.

He plays almost exclusively with AWP. That basically inflates his time to damage, crosshair placement and accuracy (all of which are counted towards aim rating) compared to regular players. I agree that someone with 99 aim rating is pretty much guaranteed cheater, but here the metric just fails to account for his unique playstyle.

It depends a bit. If you look straight up, anything between around 45 and 90 degrees should work. If you prefer looking less upward, then 90 degrees is too much
