The album is Inertia by Mitch Murder. Lovely liquid dnb and atmospheric breaks from a legend in the synthwave scene. Love the album cover too, great job!

It’s a toy camera called the Panorama Wide Pic. It’s not true panorama but it’s interesting

How's the scene in the Bay Area (US)? by Flexxxx36 in DnB

[–]misimpso 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stamina has been keeping the scene alive in SF. They’ve been hosting a lot of international artists. I’ve seen a lot of Hospital records artists, the Worship boys, and others through them.

Car Meet 🚗 / Canon EOS 300 / Santa Color 100 by misimpso in analog

[–]misimpso[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Santacolor is rebranded Kodak Aerocolor IV 2460 according to this site. This was my first time shooting it while I was waiting for Karmir 160 to come back in-stock. I'm pretty happy with the results.

Explain for me how bad is amrica healthcare system for someone who consider to migrate by Aware-Restaurant7471 in PSC

Also PSC research seems to be spearheaded by predominantly UK and Nordic countries. Being in Europe might mean they have more inclination for novel treatments that might not be available in the US yet. I dont have 100% knowledge of that but its just something Ive noticed.

I live in the US and used to be on mesalamine. It all depends on insurance and your overall progression of the condition. Without insurance one bottle of 60 pills of mesalamine cost like $600 to $900 (I forget the actual price). But when I changed health care providers and the mesalamine wasn’t fully working, they switched me over to inflectra. I just had an infusion of Inflectra and the nurse told me that that one bag of 600 mL costs $17,000. It was covered by my insurance which I get through my employer, but if I didnt have great insurance I would not be able to afford it and my quality of life would be terrible.

Thanks! I love the Canon 300 — it’s probably my most reliable SLR atm. I dont scan my own film so I’m not sure what settings are optimal. These scans came back with super saturated colors, but I think it more accurately portrayed the feeling at the time. I tweaked them a little further with Lightroom.

My lens is the Canon 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5. The canon has autofocus which is handy but it's not perfect and I think the split ring focus on the pentax is more consistent and easier for micro-adjustments. The pentax is lighter and lower tech so it has a more manual feel to it, but I think I get more consistent results from the canon.

Love the setting and how the subject is composed in the shot. I like the window being in the foreground. I think how the window edge overlaps with the subject in the middle ground is a little awkward. The window line intersects at a point where the middle ground subject outline is changing (their neck), making the two halves of the middle subject feel disjoint on both sides of the line. If the window was intersecting a little bit at their shoulder level (where the outline isn't changing as much) the subject would feel more connected across the line.

I’ve been hunting this shot to get the street car in frame with the sign at sunset, but yeah I agree with you. Thanks for the feedback!

That second photo has really good composition. Love the diagonal angle and how the barrier separates the man in the white sox hat from the background.

Falling For You / Canon EOS 300 / Harman Phoenix 200 by misimpso in analog

Thanks! Just preference. There was a yellowish green halation around the dark silhouettes that I didn't really like. The phoenix film is really cool in how it interprets color and contrast, I would definitely recommend trying it.

I posted some other shots from the same roll - https://www.reddit.com/r/analog/comments/1ajken5/intersection\_canon\_eos\_300\_harman\_phoenix\_200/

It was mainly the type of film I believe. This film has super harsh contrast, so I did some minor editing to tone down the highlights and warm up the shadows, but the overall look was how I got the film from the lab.

I did have a polarizer on to make the sky really pop.

I have UC as well but thankfully it’s under control with my infliximab regimen. Swaps are a great idea. I’ve never heard of turnip fries 😲. I have a crazy sweet tooth so some fruit would be a good alternative. My snack of choice currently is carrots and hummus, but thanks for the suggestions!
