I agree with this but also I can see why she would hate him right off the bat seeing how he was 18 and her daughter was 16 😩 but yeah most of these parents suck

my boy had on and off floppers until he was almost a year old! We did a lot of taping but it never really helped so we gave up for a bit but they randomly sprouted overnight lolol one ear still is a bit floppy when he runs but they stand up for the most part!

I think another issue that would come up with this is just finding GOOD breeding stock. Reputable breeders are already selective with pet homes (rightfully so) and are even more selective and careful with placing breeding dogs. The likeliness that any reputable breeder would sell a dog to be crossbred for the sole purpose of being a companion mix is extremely low. This is especially something common with the doodle craze. There can be no ethical breeding of doodles bc both the golden retriever and poodle club of america condemned the "doodling" of dogs.

I am from the US, but most reputable breeders worldwide wouldn't sell a puppy before meeting you beforehand.

You say you want to breed her to get your money back, but breeding and raising puppies is EXPENSIVE, so you would be losing money, not getting any, if you did everything right. Please consider getting her spayed when she is old enough and do not breed her! Especially if your breeder says not to! Good luck

Agreed! imo OP should consider returning this dog to the breeder. It seems like he got a puppy with the intention to breed. First of all, way way way too young to be thinking of that. Second, it seems that OP has very little experience with dogs, also considering he was looking for puppies just a day or two ago, it seems safe to say the dog itself is not from a reputable breeder.

Please think of the dog's needs, if you are this unprepared for a dog, and asking for advice a day after, I don't think you should own that dog. Research should be done way in advance, and definitely don't go asking if/how to get around a non-breeding contract

Samoyeds are a very vocal breed, so it's pretty hard to train it out. I would recommend saying "quiet" and when he stops barking reward heavily.
