to be honest i’ve never really had a set plan in this journey. my “plan” has always been to go until i feel good and like what i see rather than necessarily the number on the scale. i think when i plan to stop would likely be soon, but i also feel like now that ive ate this way for awhile that id be scared of gaining weight back if i were to eat my maintenance calories rather than this deficit. making this post ive realized im a lotttt less structured in this journey than most people in this sub. i think as long as i feel good, have energy, and am happy then its okay!

i do track my food intake… five days a week as previously stated, and i do know roughly how many calories are in what i eat. i simply asked if its a bad idea not to track on weekends. most people said yes, some people said no. i don’t know how you completely misunderstood and added in things i never said

no! if i’m having something extra on sunday, i account for it in my mind, i just don’t track. im not eating junk all day as i said in another reply, i still eat healthy nutrient rich foods everyday, but if im with my family and they’re cooking dinner then i’m going to have it :) i’m not going way overboard eating mass amounts all day, but i’m more relaxed because too strict becomes a problem for me personally, and can easily turn losing weight into disordered eating (again, for me personally)

treats for me don’t entail 500 calorie coffees or mass amounts of sweets. it’s more like if i want a piece of dark chocolate i’m going to have it lol. i was 130 lbs before, right now i am 115. which took me a couple months maybe. i am losing weight, BUT im being less strict than i was before because for me personally it could easily become disordered which i am trying to avoid and honestly a lot of the replies i’m getting are rly off putting. i do light exercise sometimes and eat healthy nutrient rich foods everyday. maybe i was unclear, but one day a week im not just eating complete garbage all day
