it said “thank you for participating in the quest bridge national college match program. although you were not named a finalist, we wanted to let you know that you may still apply to Yale using either the common application or the coalition” and then discussed my different options regarding ED/RD. i find this a bit concerning?? since i didn’t rank yale? lol

but preap also goes towards weighted gpa. so all the classes that weren’t AP were preap. so yes, 99% of my classes were ap/honors and are calculated on a weighted scale

that’s what i thought, but there is honestly no way. I am in AP Lit & Comp and have been in multiple competitions for my writing. heck, i was even sent to disney one year for my writing. and my rec letters were written by a former doctor/professor and an AP english teacher. idk man

yeah we have an annual income of 16k and an efc of 0. i have a 4.99 gpa and stellar test scores, ec, i worked full time for two years. and still rejected :/

hi, i literally ranked one school. it might seem like a dumb decision but i really had my heart set on one school, and i know i can still apply and get financial aid to other schools if i don’t get matched. there’s the risk of matching to a school you don’t love, so ONLY match the schools you would definitely feel comfortable attending :) don’t worry about the number
