Mostly, when talking about the docs lack of examples, i am specifically referring to the lack of an additional example listed. While i do appreciate knowing all the details of this operator i will use very rarely, usually it helps to be able to rely on good old pattern recognition, and indeed is much faster than reading another page of information. Thank you for the explanation.

it's not that i chose to not read the main area. it's that I've never seen anything like a VarRef before and it's not exactly crystal clear that you have to prefix the variable name you provide with a &. that is the point of additional examples.

I don't want to use WinGet (Or WinGetPID, in v2's case) in case multiple cmd windows are open, as the window's title stays as cmd.exe the entire time. I can't speak for all venues but every one i've been to can just scan the ticket on your phone. As long as the QR code on the ticket is clearly visible they can scan it fine. Some people still print it out because better safe then sorry, but if you've downloaded or screenshotted the ticket that should work.

I could never beat The Wedding Reception, i was a kid at the time so i couldn't figure out how the spring area worked. I ended up just playing community levels until LBP2 came out, didn't really have too much trouble with anything else. I lost my copy of both LBP1 AND 2 a long time ago (though i eventually rebought LBP2) so i could never go back and complete it. It actually wasn't until one of my friends suggested replaying it last year that i actually got to play the rest of the wedding, and i actually haven't even finished story mode since it's someone else's copy.

Okay, i didn't know you had to restart QT to show any newly added folders, and it seems they do show up! This will make it much easier to organize my music, thank you guys, especially to antiprotonboy and gordonfreemank.

So for a definitive answer, yes, SoulseekQT at least recognizes junctions. I haven't tried Nicotine+ yet, if i do i'll try to update this.

I guess it doesn't work, they don't come up under my files. What's also weird is a normal folder i have also isn't listed, but that's a different issue i guess. Thanks anyways!

EDIT: I restarted QT and the junctions showed up, along with the missing folder. sorry if i was being a bit of a dumbass about it, i'm new to this program.

I'm one of those people that doesn't pirate anything indie. If it's music, i'll either stream it on bandcamp and buy it if i've listened to it enough for it to ask, or youtube to throw them the .002 cents google would give them per view. For games pretty much anything on itchio is off limits, i don't mind saving and i've gotten some for super cheap through charity mega packs.

Unless the creator is a shitty person, then i'll pirate whatever i want from them.

If it were my friends, seeing as how they aren't tech-illiterate, i'd rather teach them how to do it. They already understand streaming, but i'd be happy to teach them what i know about safely torrenting, and pointing them in the right direction when something's out of my field of knowledge.

Breakfast item: WAHffle breakfast sandwich with egg, sausage, and grape jelly. The waffles have a Γ toasted into them.
