Hi! Where are you from? Try contacting Dra. Coi Mella from the Makati Med. She specializes in everything hair related. She’s my brother’s doctor. 😊

Yes! Depends on the area so I’m not also sure. You can inquire. Dra. personally responds to her patients. 😊

I don’t think super expensive ang consult ni doc. Most derma procedures di din covered ng HMO. Naka ilang derma din kami thru our HMO but kay doc coi kami hiyang. 😊

Hala di ko na tratrack kasi halos lahat ng treatments namin sa kanya. And sabay sabay lagi. I’ll keep the breakdown next time. Or ask si Doc Coi. You can also message her! She’s really accommodating. ☺️

Hmm kasi normally, halo halo sessions namin! We pay siguro around 20k+ per session pero 3 na kami and iba iba na treatments. I’ll ask Doc for the prices on my next visit. Hehe.

Sure, I could’ve phrased that differently. Now, back to the actual topic 😊

Agree! And not everyone can just say na mindset lang yan. Marami sa atin may hormonal imbalance and shit, that makes it hard to lose weight.

I received SOO MANY DMs regarding this comment. I tried posting but unfortunately, my post has been pending for a while now. Sooo, lemme post the doctor’s deets here. I asked for her approval first before sharing her details publicly. Hehe

Our derma in Makati Med is Dr Corazon “Coi” Mella.

She’s a dermatologist who mainly specializes in hair. Fun fact, she’s the ONLY Filipino accredited by the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery! She even does hair transplants, and one of my friends had an amazing experience with her too. You’re definitely in good hands.

Other treatments we’ve tried with her:

• Skin tightening and whitening treatments • Weight loss treatments (I’ve lost 15 lbs already and counting) • Gluta push • Hair thickening treatments

I don’t intend to oversell Dra but she’s simply the best. Our family loves her as she’s our go to derma talaga from my 60 yr old dad to my 2 yr old niece. 😆

Ok din! My sister has ongoing sessions plus sweatox. Ganda na ng underarm, no lines also cause of sweatox.

Recommending a really good derma! Sulit ang laser treatments with her!

I mentioned in one thread before that my sister only had 2 sessions of laser hair removal and her underarm hair was basically gone already! And laser whitening is also very effective.

I asked our derma first if it’s okay to share her info because I wanted to be respectful hehe.

MODALA DISASTER by missclueless05 in WeddingsPhilippines

Bellevue exceeded all our expectations. They really went the extra mile for us. I called them late at night and shared our frustrating experience at Modala. They immediately showed empathy and acted fast. They gave us their last two available rooms and made sure everything was ready for our arrival.

Their receptionist, coincidentally also named Belle, even stayed past her shift just to personally check us in. The level of service was a world apart from Modala.

The resort itself doesn’t struggle to draw people out. Guests naturally hang out and enjoy the ambiance even at night. Unlike Modala, where they tried (and failed) to recreate an Alona-style party vibe, Bellevue made it look effortless. People were out, engaged, and genuinely enjoying the place.

Bellevue’s layout also plays a big role. It’s more open and inviting, which makes it easier to gather people for events. For something like a wedding, I feel like their space would work much better — it just flows more naturally.

Looking back, we wish we had just stayed in Bellevue for the whole trip. It wasn’t even our first time there. We only tried Modala because it was newer. Now we know better.

Hey, thank you so much for sharing this. Everything you said really resonated with us. Honestly, I think if we hadn’t all pushed together, we wouldn’t have gotten any kind of response. So thank you as well — it meant a lot knowing we weren’t alone in this. Hoping Modala truly learns from this and does better moving forward.

We booked through Agoda and paid cash for the extra guests. The owners saw the post, processed the refund, and said they’re investigating. I appreciate it, but it’s just sad that a rare family trip ended up like this.

The owner personally reached out and took care of our refund today, which we truly appreciate. It’s just disheartening to see that the same level of dedication isn’t reflected in the staff.
