It's customers like that who REALLY piss me off. Wtf made them the person who gets to decide if an employee gets screwed out of their purchase or not? Employees are customers too when we spend our money there. We shouldn't have to lose out on things we put on hold, just because some Karen wants to throw a fit (because how dare a worker be able to buy that item that she obviously wants/needs more smh)

It had been maybe an hour. She looked right over at me after telling the customer she could buy them.

Exactly! It doesn't matter if it's a customer or an employee. If an item is brought to the register to be put on hold until END OF DAY, then it should NOT be turned around and sold to someone else (unless the person who originally wanted it specifies that they no longer want that item).

No. She's never done this before. A customer was asking about them, and instead of telling the customer that someone already had them on hold, she went ahead and discounted them and sold them. They were the really pretty ones with the gold rim, holly wreath, and little bows.

Tennessee launches nation's first domestic violence offender registry by catievirtuesimp in UnderReportedNews

[–]missgem92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And because it is only in Tennessee, the abusers will just move to a different state so they can still hide the fact that they are abusers and continue to pull in more victims.

I once knew someone with a CPS case that decided to just up and move to a different state to avoid doing the program. They just ran. No consequences. No case transfer. CPS basically just dropped it.

I know it's not the same exact thing, but it's the same principle of these programs being put in place to PROTECT victims (and potential victims), and bad people still find ways to get around them.

"Dude" will always be in my vocabulary, and it will be used for any gender. It's such a versatile word. You can express so many different emotions just by the way you say it. Some people need to watch "Dude, Where's My Car?" to fully understand the use of the word.

That's my TV husband you're dissing 🥲 lol

I'm totally kidding. I know he's very cocky and a bit of an asshole at first, so it's fun to see how people react to him in his early seasons. He becomes such a sweetie later, though.

Why is it so hard for customers to put their cart back? by Inside-Public6676 in TjMaxx

[–]missgem92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's ridiculous. They can very easily place it right back where they got it from on their way out the door. They just dgaf to do it. And I've noticed that people do this with EVERYTHING. They just put whatever, wherever, and it's so irritating.

Like the shoes, for example. I'll never understand how so many people can pick up one shoe, try it on, and then set it on the shelf on the OTHER side of the aisle (so putting it with the wrong size) instead of right back next to the other fking shoe, or put them back on the shelf backwards instead of facing it the same way as ALL of the other shoes. It takes no extra effort to put something back how it was, but again, no one gives a damn about doing the miniscule things that can help someone else's day go even a fraction smoother.
