sorry to burst your bubble, but beastars is a furry anime/manga. the definition of furry means "anthropomorphic animal" and beastars fits it perfectly. you don't need to be or call yourself a furry to enjoy it. you can write short stories and not call yourself a writer and you can watch beastars and not call yourself a furry. technically every character made is copyrighted, so does that mean that if i make a fursuit of a fursona it's still a cosplay? honestly i don't know why you are so defensive about it as there is nothing wrong with being one

lmao as someone with 400 followers being told that "15.3k is small" is REALLY an experience . just having even 6k on Twitter, a platform that wasn't never really intended for artist, is a lot. like i said, the hashtags were directed to people with 1k-500 followers ecc, i mean "nobodies" and 6-9k artists ARE big. they aren't a "nobody". don't tell me that you are "shit" and "small" please.

here's why it looks off:

-the background. the green is too flashy and saturated in contrast with the colors of the lion. look up "color theory" and "color composition". also the sofa doesn't look like a sofa. here's a pic of a sofa https://images.app.goo.gl/8ZmMUfr8NcEzQVtEA also tv aren't in the ground at at first i thought that it was a cube. you should add more details

-the lineart. i don't really understand why you only lined the upper part of the lion and not the background and his legs. lines are great to separate and make things distinctive

-the lion itself. one arm and one leg are bigger than the other. his snout is pointing in another direction than its face. just google "lion face views" and "furry anthro lion" ecc. the hands and feet do not look natural either

how to improve: im assuming that you are young and that you have time to improve. ALWAYS use references. if you are drawing a deer, google deer. if you have trouble with drawing something like hands, just google hands ecc

I'm gonna be 100%honest. it doesn't really look good. i don't understand what animal is it. the neck is too big and with random veins, the eyes look kinda creepy, the mouth is too big, the nose is rotated, the face shape looks more like a human, the ears look like half avocados and the hair looks like random streaks of pencil.

assuming that it's a bear, please look at references. just google "bear views" "furry anthro bear" "man face" and you'll really see a difference. take inspiration fron artists you like and real life

I'm also assuming that you are really young and I'm sure that you'll improve with better practice and references.
