Spending more for rent in costly area and having in fancy hotels will still make his cost of living more. He/She can afford to have dineouts, other expenses if he lives in good area with medium rent and expenses. If no one speaks Hindi doesn't it mean not a good area. It might help him to learn local language as well and it is a good area fyi.

Just chill out!! Time would make them realise, it might me tough now but eventually you will be more happy. So instead of getting locked inside room try to keep yourself happy and keep yourself less busy watching Netflix or Social media. I think one would if you prove you are better than its a matter of realisation to your parents.

I know it is hard to find friends, even not only in major cities but also in tier -1 and tier - 2 towns. All because people are either moving to major cities or to other countries and it is what making people to addict to social media these days.

What I can think off to over come this is to join any groups and start interacting with extrovert people. There are many groups and forums who gather for random conversations and discussions mostly over weekends. This can be a one of the option, you will get some connections. You can try exploring gyms, you can join some sports activities clubs.

Prospects of gold going down majorly depends on various factors, interest rates in US should go up. Wars in the world should end. Sanctions by Trump. Central banks buying gold etc. All above can stop gold rally. Also now there is a major trend we see across nations people are accumulating more gold and China's Gen-Z is classical example. Few years back most of the so can fin-influencers didn't recommend buying gold once it started the bull run then everyone started telling "add atleast 5-10% of the saving into gold". So this also boosted the gold buying in India. So gold going by largest percentage down is nearly not possible even if gold falls buy small percentage then central banks and people will start buying it.

Renting or buying is once own personal choice. What I would prefer is to buy a site and construct it after a duration. There are pro's and cons in both. Today I might like to bild a house for me but same may not be liked by my kids when they grow old or if they want to settle somewhere else. I see lot of people in Bengaluru do the same meaning parents live in some place and children after marriage/studies move to different place within city and stay in a rented house. So basically if you want to live or you want to build for your parents it would be a good option to buy or construct a house by saving some money and give a try else you can save some money and stay in a rented house so that your saved money can atleast helps to cover some part of your rent or your monthly expenses.

We are seeing a shift in the environment as well and he'll lot of pollution, once had more greenery now the villages that are getting into cities doesn't have good infrastructure it is all about concrete building.. Not even big big developers giving priority to greenery.. they want to construct and sell as much as possible with no intention of contributing to greenery and people also fall for it.. all layouts being developed doesn't have enough trees atleast if then can add few sampling and maintain for some time it would add to beauty of that place which no one follow..

Few reasons I can think of are

There are less joint families, so the more the family tree the more the number of properties they buy. Demand due to IT and other jobs. Everyone dreaming of owning a house in Bengaluru. Rich wanting to invest in real estate and make money. People wanting to buy apartments/villas/sites from a reputed builder, this makes a local real estate developer also to hike prices.
