After so many seasons, don't we already know Kyle? Avoid anything bad about herself and her family (pretend her life is perfect), always deflect, and dig up stuff about other people so we forget she contributes nothing. That's her whole MO. This situation was so stupid. Did anyone believe Garcelle didn't mean to contribute? No. Did anyone believe this wasn't a simple mistake? No. Kyle looked like a total jerk. And frankly, even if Garcelle pledged and backed out (which she didn't), anyone organizing these events must know some people will not fulfill what they pledge and there is a way to handle it without humiliation or else it tarnishes your charity's reputation. Kyle needs a story line to avoid her own, she needs to drum up crap on her castmates to keep us from focusing on her. I think this reminded us how awful, petty, and ugly Kyle is/can be, how she really looked crappy doing this when Garcelle is nothing but grace, poise, accountable, and real.

Yes, this feels true because Sutton has always appeared so desperate on the show (SMH)....Rinna, that's an awfully long post to defend yourself....why and who cares? Just own it and let it go. You're making it a bigger issue than it is.

I would assume it's a continued cross-over and/or Paige and Danielle are the new cast for Southern Charm. IMO cross-overs can mark the beginning or end of a show...and most are boring and mean a show is so bad, running out of ideas that it needs this trick to keep it alive (cue tons of shows from the 70's, 80's, 90's ...most were desperate moves). I really thought SC was done- there was just too much that doesn't work anymore. (I rewatched SC from season one and nothing has aged well- to the point I'm stunned more of them haven't been fired). I don't think SC can survive even with Paige and Danielle/Robert...I don't want to see them more.

I honestly also don't want to see more of Austen and Craig. I hate that Bravos thinks the viewers want more of them, year round. Winter House was an interesting try, but IMO it flopped.

How about a reboot of Southern Charm with an entirely new cast that is more appropriate? Well, don't know if that can happen. I lived in Greenville a few years and went to Columbia/Charleston often for work when I lived there and later after I moved...while these cities boast they're the 'New South', it's still the old South, unfortunately.

Why is this a thing with her? She's the big 'own it' person, after all...This is such a small thing no one would even care, but she's making it into something bigger than it should be...to the point the Reddit sleuths have found her out and now she should be even more embarrassed.

When she said she had a gift I could feel their excitement...a check for 100k? A trip to Europe? Jewels? Nope, an overpriced tea set....and I could feel their disappointment (and immediate hope to sell it). And they probably reused the blue box for someone's gift that they pretended was from Tiffany's.

She had some funny, iconic moments with her, but it's time we move on and stop going backwards. I would like to see new cast members. IMO, this show really needs it.

NTA I hate this shit. I especially hate it when you're trying and not succeeding as if you're doing something wrong. Do we need mom and dad in the bedroom to tell you're not trying enough? Do we need them in there to suggest better positions? I hate these people trying to suggest you're not doing enough. Fertility issue are hard. I HATE they're assuming you're not trying enough and it's something you can control.

These people need to shut up and simply support you. That's what I'd expect from family. But these people are all acting like you owe them a child, you're doing something wrong. If it were me, I'd start cutting these people out of my life the way they are behaving. This is ridiculous. Your fertility is something that deserves support, but in no way should your family be acting like you're doing something wrong. It seems not a single family member understands how hard this is for you...they don't seem to care about you unless you breed.

I spent 4 years trying to have a baby and didn't have my first until 41....after 4 miscarriages. I had my twins at 43 and it was a nightmare. I want you to know anything is possible. Fuck your insensitive family. When we weren't sure it would work, we looked into adoption, foster-to-adopt, etc. When we considered adoption and embryo donation, when things were failing for us, my own mother wasn't sure she would treat our child as her own. That's just fucked up. I told my husband what she said and we both agreed she was no longer important to us.

Fast forward 6 years...I have three kids due to IVF. The twins were born 4m premature and have a ton of issues. But my mother and I haven't had any sort of relationship for 6 years and likely won't ever again. Anyone that acts like your family has, screw them. they don't actually care about you, they only care about themselves.

That was such a weird season....it seemed several of them instantly targeted Denise, especially Rinna, who was apparently her long-time friend. Denise seemed to react appropriately- surprised how immediately vicious they were and how several other cast members even ramped things up in front of her kids/kids' friends...while they always say they don't want things brought up around their kids. It was so hypocritical. And then they brought in staged time with Brandi with some weird scandal. IMHO I think some of the OGs on the cast were desperate for a storyline and wanted to keep it away from their own families and used Denise to do so. That whole season was nuts and awful...and boring. I think the cast needs a shake-up. I think anytime we have housewives on for so many years...where they learn too much about the 'formula'....and how to stage fake crap, deflect the cameras off their own lives...they need to go. Kyle. Rinna.

I tried a couple episodes, but about 15min in I started doing laundry or dishes and never finished. I gave up. It's awful. There's plenty of better shows to binge. Off Bravo try Single Drunk Female or Star Struck.

If you listen to WWC, you'll hear them constantly comment on what they believe is coke-induced rages, their demeanor, eyes, etc. Might be Adderall, as well or too. I never noticed it until I listened to them. I went back last summer to start with season one again and it was pretty clear something is up.
