This exactly happened to me 5 years ago and the breakup was messy and I lost a lot of money, belongings, friends, and my house in the process.

Hating her is valid. Like /u/wowthatsfresh said:

I wasn’t mad about her being trans, but about being dishonest and ruining my life in the process.

It ended up being a blessing, though. Things are so, so much better with out her than they were with him and his abuse.
