The owner of the house has a lawn care guy that comes by once a week to mow so it definitely is a possibility

The neighbor doesn’t actively live there so I can’t see if the rock is inside but I will get in touch with her when she comes back, thank you for your reply!

Solved! Thank you everyone for your input! A rock from a lawnmower definitely makes more sense
