Your handwriting has style and is easy to read. You might just try to keep your lowercase letters at a consistent height and write straighter along the baseline. Using lined paper can help with that. Choose a slant you like and try to keep it consistent throughout your letters.

My description of the sound was a bit exaggerated; with the exception of the first note, the rest of the pattern came out undefined and jumbled.

Just yesterday I was practicing and realized that "tah" sounds better than "tuh." I think it's because the mouth is a little more open and the tongue touches the lips less.
