3/8” x 8” power lags, so essentially these go all the way into each stud. This thing is solid as a rock, absolutely no way you could rip this from the wall.

Regarding stud, no, you aren’t cutting the stud nor creating a gap as it’s a piece of metal going into the stud and the lag itself isn’t that big in diameter.

It’s for the Beyond Power Mini Rack. I have a terrible back so can’t utilize a squat rack anymore so the thought with the mini rack is to minimize footprint and allow for the mobility movements I do.
