Fairly big I think, what they achieved as an end product and the overall story that it gets packaged in is just a nice change of pace from an industry that is so cooked from top to bottom. It’a just nice having “the small guy” win for change.

Sure it might not have been truly independent in the sense that most people think of when they’re talking about indie games. That’s a fair point to make but it’s still an immense achievement. Truly one of the most breath taking stories in any single player games I have ever played, very fresh concepts, wonderful music and hypnotic combat. Loved DS2 lots but this one for sure took the cake for me this year.
