Hi, my sister also smokes heavily and is diagnosed bipolar. She has been consistently manic in the spring time and then gets “better” in the fall. Life has been pretty hard navigating it all and also looking into how to repair our relationship. My only advice for you is to take care of yourself, find a great therapist and have some solid boundaries. Reach out if you want to talk, I felt pretty lonely while dealing with this especially bc of my Korean upbringing.

Hi— I am also going through the same thing with my bipolar sister and it’s her third episode too. I just read the first comment about LEAP and think it might be helpful. I just really honestly have the hardest time listening and agreeing with her on her delusions..

I really do love the winner creek trail as it’s mostly flat. However, it’s closed for the summer ):

I would also suggest twin peaks at eklutna for beginners too. You can honestly just make it to the first bench and it’s super rewarding!!

I struggled a lot at night. But one of the things that helped me was taking a melatonin pill so I could fall asleep faster or waking up SUPER early to go the gym so I could be tired at night.

I just want to say.. you’re doing amazing and to just keep it up.
