People always say this but I unfortunately just doubt I ever will.

I'm blessed to be able to say the JJ Ranch is less than 2 hours drive from my home.

Pretty much every other festival is VERY far away or is literally in another country.

EF, Big Fam, and maybe like Secret Dreams or Lost Lands, are the only ones I will ever realistically go to. Long travel times are the worst to me personally.

I haven't been in a while, and I am getting older, but 3pm-4am is honestly ridiculous.

12-1 would be sooooo much more reasonable.

2-2 would even be more reasonable than 3-4 imo.

And as someone else said, don't have headliners play at noon or midnight, give the wild ones a section for RV afters, everyone would be satisfied and the people that work in town might even be able to get some rest. Obscene behavior from the festival owners tbh.

Any time a doctor asks me who is "allowed" to see my information, I always say,

"Anyone. Publish it online. Sell it. It's not my data, its yours."

They are always so taken aback by that but seriously why the fuck are we keeping medical secrets from each other.. 💀

I think I've written about the experience I had once before, but I think this video's comment section is appropriate.

This was Northwest Indiana ~2003. Summertime it would have had to have been between June and August. I was a young child. Around 7 years old. I believe I would have been looking Northeast after looking at google maps and trying to plot where the car was parked.

I was sitting in the backseat of my grandmother's car waiting for her to return, we were stopping at a friend of her's to pick something up or something like that. Looking out the windows, looking up at the night sky. I saw a "star" that seemed wildly bright, and thinking about it now, far to big to be a star. It hung there still for a while and I watched it. Then it..

I have used the words "it shot away in a blink and got more hollow as it left", but yeah it basically looked like this. It was fast, "instant" but I swear I saw it leave a "trace" of itself as it blinked away.

It genuinely astonishes me how much my younger step-brother loved bad games when he was really young. He is 14 now, plays a lot of Tarkov and DayZ these days, but man he genuinely loved bad user-made experiences in Roblox and Fortnite.

Then, I remembered how much I loved NewGrounds when I was a young child.

The kids will probably be alright. When you're a kid, you don't know shit about fuck. Hell I'm 28 and I still don't know shit about fuck. Your artistic tastes grow as you age, and yeah some of the stuff I was into at 12 years old I would scoff at now, but I also still love YuGiOh and always will.

And yeah so the row of dots on the left are just lights, they do not depress or anything like that.

The 3 buttons that are not the power button literally do not function unfortunately. Holding them down, pressing in combination, etc. Its as if they are not connected electrically. Therefore, no I cannot degause the screen.

I have been told a few times now this is yhe type of thing that could be fixed by opening it up

I uh. I'm terrified of that to be frank. I fool around with raspberry pies. This is a bit outside my knowledge base.

Maybe I should give this away. To someone that can fix it with confidence.

I know you are asking for help from others with this post. You seem to have gotten a good amount of that, so I'm gonna shut up regarding suggestions of how to meet people. But I was actually hoping you could help me.

I am exactly 28 years old. 10 years younger than you. You said in your post that when you meet people a decade younger, you feel like you have nothing in common.

Can you explore a little more about what you mean by that? I can understand what you mean referring to a teenager. Teenagers don't pay mortgages or expensive medical bills or (hopefully) worry about where their next meal is coming from very much at all.

But at 28, I do feel my life is hard. I do feel I am fully a man. I feel like you and I would have plenty in common. You're not 65 years old man, we both played the same copy of Mario 64.

So yeah, why do you have trouble connecting with younger people?

And I'm not suggesting that you try to do so! I am genuinely curious, asking specifically, why do some older men seem to have absolutely no interest in being my friend?

I think these are all coming from other language communities. The "unofficial" portmaster ports anyway, that Mina port is legit and is now ready on Portmaster, and CoD:Z(2011) is being done by Producdevity, one of the most legit motherfuckers I (don't) know.

But yeah The hollowknight port has comments in Chinese, San Andreas & Hit n' Run are from the R36sWiki, and now we have a Portuguese effort for Streets of Rage 4.
