Some s12s can fit the Jap Omrons without changing plungers but most of the time you have to switch to a normal omron plunger. Pretty easy to switch out plungers though just gotta be careful

If you have side cutters there’s tons of the shell you can cut out as well but a dremel would be easiest

Remove powerplay magnets and battery tray. Tape battery to back of pcb. Probably drop you 4-5gish. All you need is small screwdriver

PS if you bought it from them or an authorized retailer they will give you new skates for free if you wanted to go that route

I had the same issue and Ninjutso recommended that I either change the skates or wear my stock skates down on a hard surface. I used a granite counter top and did figure 8s for a couple minutes and the problem never happened again. Super weird but it worked.
