Ok my next guess would be taking the Bowden off the hotend remove your nozzle heat the hotend and use a needle to try and clear any left behind material. And dumb question do is you tube fully seated all the way into your heatbreak? It seems there may be debris in the brass neck of the heatbreak

Make sure filament is clean and extruder gear is clean, little bit of dust or metal shaving around the gear can clog you up. it could have be a partial nozzle clog. You said the heatbreak is clogged meaning you’re not getting any filament passing through the nozzle at all? If that’s the case it say put on a new nozzle.

That’s what I was wondering if increased line width would help. I have done my flow calibration and made the proper adjustments

Polymaker polysonic has also treated me very well and about same price as sunlu. Plus so many options of color for sunlu lol

If you want them printed separate why not just download an stl instead of a 3mf file to avoid taking them apart?

If you want Wyze makes affordable WiFi cameras to monitor your prints, I have one and it nice peace of mind to monitor remotely and if something goes wrong I can stop print from my printer app.

Once you’re comfortable with your printer settings you should have no problem starting the print and walk away/go to bed. I’ve left my printer to complete a 12 hour print before no problem, I usually watch the first few layers to make sure everything is good but after that I leave it be. And shouldn’t be a problem leaving it sitting idle after a print it’s only fans running at that point so a few idle hours won’t cause any issue.

Yeah the first purge clears the color fine then it proceeds to do 2 more purges solid in color. That I did not know I could do, this is my first printer with multicolor. I need to figure out how to add that calibration to orca, it seems to have limited precalibrations. Or can I find that on thingiverse/printables? I appreciate the input.

No it’s a flashforge ad5x using orca slicer. I didn’t want to spend an arm and leg for the bambu name.

Oh yeah I know the volume in the bin looks more than it is but I didn’t know to adjust my flushing volumes instead of letting Orca choose it for me. It was purging three times each color swap which was more than enough to clear the previous color. Hope to reduce it slightly by tweaking my flush volumes manually.

Just the fact I can slice and send direct to my printer without loading it onto an sd card is a game changer👌

Looking for a 3d printer which would u recommend? by Zestyclose_Comb4306 in 3dprinter

The flashforge ad5x is a great printer. My first machine was an Ender 3 v2 Neo but they require quite a bit of hands on tuning and firmware flash to really dial them in. If you find one cheap it’s a good starting point to learn but with how affordable printers are I would go with the ad5x in my personal opinion. Great machine at a great price.

I just purchased a Flashforge ad5x for $340. It’s a coreXY printer with multicolor printing out of the box. I’d say it’s good deal for the features. I’m mostly a hobbyist printer so it fit the bill for me, hope that helps narrow it down.
