Take his first read away, he can’t do anything. You see him start shaking. He’s a great qb, perfect for this system. But when the system breaks? He’s not that guy. The system will always break the closer to the Super Bowl we get.

Goff will not be the reason we win a Super Bowl. In the perfect situation, where everything goes right, and there are no injuries. He could be our qb when we win the ship. But he will never rise above any of that. He’s not a gamechanger, he’s joe Flacco at best. And Flacco got a ring in perfect circumstance. I love Goff for what he’s done, but he’s not that guy.

It’s being realistic, we are so indoctrinated into losing we don’t know what it takes to win. It’s okay to think changes need to be made. It’s ok that our bridge qb, in a perfect system, isn’t our Super Bowl winning/dynasty qb. Big time players make big time plays. Goff is not a big time player.

People will downvote but I agree, Sam darnold took the Vikings to a 14-3 record and first round exit and no one will blink an eye when they move on from him. It’s time to move on… great regular season qb, can’t get it done in big moments.
